I wrote this initial guide around 2021.

By the time I'm writing this, it is the 10th of May, 2024. By June 7, it will have been 4 years since the last patch for Chaos was released.

Chaos was an amazing game that had huge potential, but it's dead. The servers are barely working, and I believe the Discord doesn't even work anymore.

I have no clue what happened to Chaos 2, if you know what happened to it's development - please leave it in the comments so I can update it.

If you still want to play the game, I've done my best to maintain this guide from my memory.

By default, your keybinds will be:

• F - Pickup Items
  
• RightClick - Throw Explosives
  
• Left Click - Attack/Fire
  
• Jump - Space
  
• Movement X - Mouse X
  
• Movement Y - Mouse Y
  
• Crouch - Left Control

You can edit some of these to your liking, simply: Esc > Settings > Keybinds

If something is not working, a keybind must have gone wrong, you can reset everything by changing each keybind to the ones above.

Chaos features a destructive environment. This means that walls, flooring and structures can all be destroyed with explosive weaponry.

I haven't played this game in almost 3 years, so I can't tell you what weapons do what, but I will do my best to note down the ones I am best aware of:

• Katana: A simple melee weapon, and is one-hit.
  
• Shotgun: Knocks you back, but fires several pellets.
  
• Rocket Launcher: Fires a rocket that explodes on contact with anything. Can be used to destroy walls and flooring
  
• Pistol: A basic pistol.
