Supervised work
by far the best way to deal with a traitor simply have a guard patrol his behaviour at all times give him no ID and let him do work, this is very difficult to pull off.

There are many ways to tell if someones a traitor
I am not going to include the obvious ones

Running from vent to vent or metal panel
check a vent where someone has been if it's a loose vent kill them
