x16 Big Rocket

x16 Big Rocket: Reach maximum Bonus multiplier

This can be done by hitting an enemy with a rocket 7 times in a short span. This will increase the multiplier exponentially until you hit x16, where the multiplier caps.

The score multiplier with each successful rocket hit increases like this:
x1>x2>x3>x4>x6>x8>x12>x16

The higher your multiplier is, the more coins will rain upon you, the more coins you collect, the more rockets you get, the more rockets you get, the faster you can shoot down enemies, which means the safer you will be.

Mastering this mechanic is essential to your survival so be sure to practice it.
Stage Achievements

Stage Achievements includes:
  • Do Pirates Fly In the Sky: Clear Stage 1
  • Flight of the Monster Bird: Clear Stage 2
  • Railway Chase: Clear Stage 3
  • Battle over the Rainy Lake: Clear Stage 4

All of these achievements are obtained after beating their respective stage and are unlocked as you play the game naturally.
High Scorer

High Scorer: Gain 1 million score.

This may seem tough but with careful, generous use of rockets you can reach one million score.

Be sure to start growing your score multiplier as fast as you can and maintain it for as long as you can to ensure you squeeze out as much score as you can from each enemy.
Ending Achievements

Ending Achievements include:
  • Veteran: Unlock 5 different endings
  • Ace: Unlock 10 different endings
  • Guildmaster: Unlock all 18 endings

These achievements are unlocked as you obtain each ending.

For more detail on how to obtain each ending, please refer to:

A Flying Red Barrel Ending Guide.
Golden Wings

Golden Wings: Clear the game without using any continues.

This one can be tough but can be obtained with practice. Remember to obtain a high rocket chain to collect a lot of rockets to protect yourself.
Seagull's Bane

Seagull's Bane: Terrorize the seagulls in Stage 1.

What the condition means is you have to shoot all the seagulls that appear in Stage 1.

Just make sure none of them get past you by using as many rockets as possible and tapping your shoot button while moving around the screen.

If you've destroyed enough of them, you will get the achievement near the end of the second wave of seagulls.
Megabat

Megabat: Defeat the Secret Bat Boss.

Making his return is the Bat Boss, who appears in the cavern just before Merchant's train.

In order to summon the Bat Boss, you have to destroy every rock beside the train track after entering the cave.

Be sure to watch out for these rocks as they can be easy to miss among all the planes and trains this segment throws at you.

The Bat Boss itself is no pushover either, be ready to dodge when it appears as it lunges towards you while firing a spread of bullets that target the position you were in.

It also summons smaller bats for some support, take it out as fast as you can by shooting the Bat Boss' face with rockets.
Top Gun

Top Gun: Defeat Flying Castle's main cannon.

In order to fight Flying Castle's main cannon you have to perfect 6 out of the 8 engines on the sides of Flying Castle.

To perfect the engines, you have to shoot out all four turrets on the edges of the engine before destroying the engine itself.

Doing this will unlock another phase of Flying Castle after the three center turrets, bringing out the main cannon to fire upon you.

Be careful, as the cannon fires a large trail of green explosions that spread stray bullets across the entire screen.

Stop Pestering Me!

Stop Pestering Me!: Defeat Blue Crow the 2nd.

No, this does not mean Blue Crow's second fight.

This is one of the most difficult achievements in the game as the triggers to encounter Blue Crow the Second are very precise.

Step 1:

Listen to Blue Crow in Stage 1, then shoot him down.

If you shoot him down before Peat finishes talking, Blue Crow the Second will not appear.

Step 2:

During Blue Crow's second fight, shoot out Blue Crow's equipment at the front without damaging Blue Crow itself at all.

You will know you have done this correctly when Peat exclaims that he "Just bought that equipment!"

Step 3:

Obtain rankings above 3 stars for every stage and don't use any continues.

Make sure you're scoring as much as possible, keeping up a large multiplier at all times, and most importantly, avoiding damage.

Step 4:

After all these conditions are met, Blue Crow the Second will appear after the first round of blimps in Stage 5.

This is Blue Crow's toughest form for good reason, as he has much more fire power now and his main body is invulnerable to damage for a few seconds.

The multiplier counter does not slow down during this mid-boss either, making this invulnerability period even more devastating. Taking out Blue Crow the Second's equipment too fast will kill your multiplier.

With all this said, once you defeat Blue Crow the Second you will be awarded with the achievement.

You can get some of these in practice mode such as Bat Boss or Flying Castle's main cannon since you only need to complete a condition within the single stage to get them.

For the achievements that you need to go through multiple stages for, such as Golden Wings and Blue Crow the Second, yes you have to play through the game for those.
