Tips 10 - 12
Tip 10: Shhh… Let the darkness take you… You will be infused and bolstered by it. So… IF you die… It’s 100% OKAY. Spend your earned Genome points that you did not spend because you didn’t get a cryo core and bay up and running. It’s frustrating… but you learned and that’s what matters. You are “The Sleeper”, not “The Dead”. You sleep and wake, sleep and wake, sleep and wake; until you sleep one last time.

Tip 11: Be virtuous. This means having virtues of patience, wisdom, and self-control will go a long way in keeping you alive in the city. Patience to wait for enemies to walk away. Wisdom to know that it’s okay to change plans at a moment’s notice. And the self-control to not start a fight without using a sonar pulse at least twice in an area to make sure you do not draw undue attention to yourself.

Tip 12-A: It’s a Trap!!! {SPOILER WARNING} There are story centric locations that WILL 100% BORK YOUR RUN… if you are not good enough at being a patient ninja chicken. I’ll explain further for you.
--New Life in Arcadia’s furthest back room: Upon entering, with nobody around for sonar pulses for days, you will be visited by more than three angry spirits. I’ve seen a widow amongst the group so be very careful. REMEDY: Go there when it is the darkest, and on emergency power. You will be able to see enough and they are effectively blind. It is a very tight corridor set and I’m not expecting you to be as well-equipped by then. If you are prepared… enjoy the adrenaline rush.

Tip 12-B: Be prepared! {LESS SPOILERY WARNING}
--Nascent Robotics bowels: It’s no secret by now that the Stalker will spawn there to confront you. Sonar Pulse will reveal him so you can be more aware. And since you are expecting it… Prepare. Get full tier 3 armor, fully upgraded weapons, fully repaired equipment. Healing stims, adrenaline stims, and energy cells to get you through a fight.

Tip 12-C: The bell tolls for thee… In the Promenade there will be a mission that sends you to a place on the upmost floor. Keep your head on, your bat ears open, and you will be fine.

Tip 12-D: Danger! Danger my fellow sleeper! Nanite quarantine zone for a mission… OBEY TIP 12-B. I expect you to be a beastly sneak wizard at this point. Enjoy the adrenaline rush.
Tips 13 - 15
Tip 13: BWUUUUM…mrr…mrr… BWUUUUM…mrr…mrr… In nanite infested areas you will hear a distinct sound. If you follow the noise, you will be rewarded with a glowing red garrison container that is ALWAYS LOADED with okay to great items. I hope that you were smart and fully upgraded your inventory capacity.

Tip 14: Shut up and Dance! Unlock PAMELA’s Frenzy… Use it whenever you see too many enemies in an area to easily sneak by. This is how I learned that a Widow can solo a Reaper… Tells you who to watch out for more.

Tip 15: He’s a phantom… Unlock PAMELA’s Invisibility and the passive ability to draw from Eden’s main battery system. Only the Widow will be able to follow you as you make your escape if you aren’t quiet. There is an augment that muffles your running to normal walking level.
Tips 16 - 19
Tip 16: Do it. These tips should apply universally to any difficulty setting. So I say this to you… It’s absolutely 100% okay to adjust the difficulty to fit your tastes. This game is a very personal experience and is not a one size fits all. If you love the rush of the risk of getting your bones broken by the first Afflicted that even looks at you funny. Do it. If you want to explore eden with robotic allies and greet Reapers with a warden fisted handshake. Do it. I’m not a judge of your experience, just a fellow sleeper.

Tip 17: Pride cometh before the fall… The ‘Sin’ variant of the warden’s fist is by far a force to be reckoned with. If you find one… upgrade that thing to the max and watch Reapers and such go flying to their butts with one well charged up strike. Then be ready to run because you forgot to use your sonar to see the two widows on the floor below you coming to investigate the noise you just made…

Tip 18: Mad scientist? I prefer… EVIL GENIUS! Once you have yourself well established and a few districts properly set up to a point you don’t fear being murdered instantly. Experiment on the populace and yourself. Try out new combos of gear, set up a shooting gallery of turrets, test out the real hearing distance of widows, practice recovery tactics after suffering a Reaper’s roar. Figure out how many shots you need of a fully upgraded Javelin to take down an unaware enemy.

Tip 19: Well sleeper, this is last bit of wisdom I can share with you…
“Wake up.”
Tricks
Trick: Punching the air, or not performing a killing shot on an enemy will make noise and nearby things will hear you and come to investigate. This can be a way to bait them away from where you want to be.

Trick: Equip the Veiss VISR… You will be able to see how much noise you really are making and how much light you actually are standing in.

Trick: Sleeping on the bed is a very safe and good thing to do when you have a proper base built. Restoring stamina this way is very cheap and wise way to pass time during the brightest part of the daylight cycle in the city where everything can see you much more easily.

Trick: Shutting doors behind yourself and using the shield walls and doors to provide an additional layer of security. Doors generate noise to let you know if danger is near and they block sight. I suggest using two shield pylons as they take up less inventory space than a shield door and you need room for a transmitter and ion core. So if you need blockades, this is a good low cost trick.

Interesting! In know I occasionally close doors just so I have prior warning when they get opened. I'll add it to the tricks. It's a real shame you can't lock doors on your own.

While probably common sense another tip may be to close gates / doors behind you.
more so at zone borders.

Another may be to make use of the shield door / walls to create an extra Airlock around Zone Gates or Doors. As it'll give the player, you, time to get to and close said gate behind you, if you have run.

Hey, your survival is all that matters. If you can use your light without getting caught... all the better. The VISR I use tells me that when I turn it on the light level around me gets higher. So I move around mostly with my sonar pings.

These were great! I actually didn't think the variants had any effect, but I looked for them regardless. I have the unfortunate luck of having scrapped a varied javelin because I had a normal one that was maxed out, but I have enough upgrade chips to max out another one when I find out.

Additionally, I don't know if it's a bug or not but I have the full nanoflex set with all the noise reduction perks and I have frequently snuck by enemies two feet away with my flashlight on.
