How to Setup Dedicated Server
Sometimes setting up a Dedicated server is the best way to play with friends, and so also for 7 days to Die Alpha 19.

I walk through the steps of how to install in Steam, how to configure, where to access, run and of course some troubleshooting steps.

Welcome! I would check the logs, at the bottom it usually will give some indication. A tip is also to install it, and NOT change any settings. It's fairly common if you're new to it, to edit a file and break it, and then it won't start. So best to just see if you can get it up with default settings :)

If the server launcher and everything closes, it means it failed and you need to check the log to find out what the problem is. Normally it's because the game has been messed up somehow, a config file wrongly edited etc, but a reinstall should solve that.

Using a dedicated server is by definition not peer to peer. You can't do peer to peer with a dedicated server, you'd have to do that in the game by starting a regular game and just inviting a friend to join :)
