I saw this post[www.beamng.com] on the Community Screenshots thread on the BeamNG forums, and I was amazed at how the user (Senna1) managed to change the background color of the map. I wanted to do something similar to what he had created.























After some time toying around with the world editor, I figured out how to change the background color of the Showroom map, and this is what this guide will be about!

1. Load up the "Showroom" map. It's part of the official game and can be found in the level selector:


















2. Once you are in the map, press "F10" on the keyboard to open up the World Editor. Your screen should look something like this:


















3. On the top of the screen, hover over "Tools":


















4. Under tools, click on "Material Editor." A new window should appear:


















5. On that window, scroll down until you see this gray square:


















6. Click on the grey square, and a color selector should come up:


















7. Now you can edit and change the color to your likings:


















8. Now you can press "F10" again and close out of the world editor. Take all the glorious screenshots you want to your hearts content! I recomend using the FOV slider (it's the camera button on the side bar when you press the "Escape" key), as you can take really good screenshots that way:
