First 15 Minutes
By Corbies
A brief guide to help you survive your first 15 on the streets, hopefully setting the groundwork for a successful life as a survivor. I'll add images as I get them, this is a contuining work, and if I make another guide I may delete it! Good luck out there!

First Step: Character creation

Your choice of clothing and skin tone might not seem essential, but if you are going for a difficult to notice look, bright blue stands out on the dark streets of Nether, especially at night. Keep in mind also you are most visible from the back, your starting backpack is bright green! With that in mind, making yourself stand out as less as possible is always better, even if you are trying not to be seen.
Second Step: Spawning in

The second you spawn, it's wise to do a complete 360 to get your bearings. Generally speaking you won't be on top of anyone, but it's important to do so for your next step. Take a look at the map to determine where you are. Is there a nether surge right next to you? or a supply drop? Try to distance yourself from any immediate danger by heading indoors, or away from events! No reason to make yourself a target right off the bat.
Third Step: Have knife, will slaughter
Now that you have yourself all figured out, at least your immediate surroundings, you need to get yourself a heading. Generally as a fresh spawn, I try to plan a route to the closest safe haven, taking a winding route through buildings, looking for any food and munitions on the way, being sure to avoid any wayward nether on the way. What you are looking for is a brown colored, smoky humanoid running on all fours to kill. ONLY if he is alone.

If you spot one of the 'dog' looking humanoids running around on all fours, alone, I highly advise you to take it down. Killing one will get you your first level if you are alone, and doing so will make your life that much easier.
Forth Step: First level, but so far to go
Once you ding that first lovely skill point, I absolutely 100% reccomend getting the first point of melee skill, block.

It will make your puny knife into a weapon capable of tackling most any nether (sans golem) that may stand in your way.

Right click to hold the block and simply face the attacking nether, and it's all uphill from there.
Fifth Step: The long road ahead
Assuming you took a couple hits fighting your first Nether, and haven't found any supplies along the way, it's time to start your search. Buildings are your best bet, any building you can enter seems to have a chance of spawning delicious supplies, so keep your butt indoors, keep an eye out for other players, and keep your head high!

Preferably not on someone's nordic battle axe.

They have those, you know!

I guess, I haven't really crafted anything in the game

I can honestly say I liked the game when I first played in december, as well as when I made this guide. They cocked it up by making it revolve around crafting shit imo.

I am thinking on uninstalling it and I only bought it a few days ago.The first time I actualy spawn the safezone was under attack by the nether and well you know how that goes when someone doesn't know how to play the game gets killed within the first 10 seconds of gameplay.

How to survive the first 30 minutes these days. You spawn, you complete the so called 'tutorial' you leave the safezone and bam dead.
