Place one portal on a vertical wall, jump and put the other portal under your feet. With the Portal Gun equipped, you'll gain fall speed [up to 179 mph] so when you'll pass through the portals you'll have a great horizontal speed! Now, you can hover across the entire map!

Fall from a high place to gain even more speed!


If you don't have the Soaring Insigna, flying to keep a high height will consume "wing stamina", so you may not hover forever...

• Trees: terribly frustrating to be stopped by a bunch of leaves ._.
  
• Sky islands and sky lakes: if you're careful, it shouldn't be a huge problem
