Dam Part 2

This is the successor to Dam Part 1. Jump into the role of Alyx Bond and take on the classic N64 Goldeneye map DAM in this VR REMASTER! Experience a nostalgic breakthrough in re-telling a classic through sandbox mechanics that give players a unique combat experience as they are guided through a story crafted to help Alyx accomplish each objective. The dynamic AI that has been crafted, as well as players choice of approach through each objective, gives you the freedom to play a unique style that will keep you coming back for more!

While I'm leaving reviews, can someone please tell me how I can input a STAR rating? This mod, rightfully, has 5 stars, but there is nowhere on this page for me to also click a 5 Star rating. Where are they hiding this function??

I had same issue as someone else. Early on, the gun didn't reload and ammo collected didn't show up in inventory. Eventually, when I found more clips, it started registering but not without wondering how I was going to do any of that without any ammo! ;)

I got a Quest 3 and Half Life Alyx a couple of months ago and since completing it, I've played about 20 of the top rated Mods. This one, even though it's a single level, was very challenging and well done. For one thing, the Bots seem to be a bit more intelligent than most other mods I've played. They hide and run for cover when injured. Ammo is sparse and well hidden in the map. I had to go back and activate the power stations after I thought I turned them all on! HA! Made it that much more fun. One thing I'll say as a CON, was after defeating all the combine on the ground and hitting the final switch, I was surprised how it ended after lifting that final shudder gate. 5 stars!:steamthumbsup: :steamthis:

While this is a great map, there is a "dumb" factor in it. Every game survivor knows, when you're in the dark, you need to be able to "hear" your enemies coming. While it looks all cool in movies, music playing in your ear does NOT help you fight enemies, especially when it's so loud you cant hear them coming (which you sorta rely on in this map). It's the game it, not me, i put the combat music at "0" and after i do several of these power stations, it just starts BLARING in my ears and that's not helpful when they WHOLE of the map starts to come down on you.

This answer may be late, but for anyone needing that solution.

I had that too. Seems to be a conflict between different addons. (I had activated multiple maps to not go into addon menu each time).

I went to addon menu and deactivated all other addons (Including the other parts of Goldeneye Dam) and only left Dam Part 2 active. After starting new game with only this addon, it was fixed.

I have more hours then most and I can definitely say that this is one of the most fun mods I have played to date, close to 3 years now. You did a great job, congratulations. I hope you continue to build additional mods as good good as this one or better. I will definitely be coming back for seconds. Loved the pistol...

Just finished it. Still some choppy issues but fun nonetheless. Unfortunately as I get into part 3 I've found the goldbe gun won't work, so I'm not going to play that part.

Really enjoyed this mod, well made and hard to get through on hard.
