Description
Due to a freak accident involving a disk failure, I've lost the original files for the mod.

I've since recovered the voicelines one by one thanks to backup but I don't know how to update the mod in its current state (I've lost the original descriptor file and I still have no idea how the PDX launcher works.)

Currently, everything should work for 3.0 onwards unless PDX makes changes to advisors, if that happens we're willing to reupload the mod to maintain The Tactician's usability.

New to stellaris modding, this is our first mod on the workshop.

Me and my friends enjoyed playing stellaris so we thought it would be nice to give back to the community. We present to you: a new advisor.

So what's the deal with The Tactician?

They say the Tactician doesn’t sleep. That his mind is a battlefield where simulations never stop running, every outcome weighed, every move calculated ten steps ahead. He’s not interested in glory, or loyalty, or even victory in the traditional sense. All he cares about is efficiency—the cleanest path from objective to result.

This advisor is somewhat inspired by Command and Conquer, Company of Heroes and the vanilla Militarist advisor. We didn't like how she sounded like a discount Sith Lord so we figured that it's better to make our own.

Since this is our first mod, there's bound to be some bugs here and there, please report them and go easy on us, we're newbies.

There's a possibility that we will make more advisor mods in the future, with the same style as this one, though right now we're not so sure about that.

Fun Fact
- We're complete amateurs.
- This mod was conceptualized in April 2020, but due to various delays, it's finished in July 2020.
- Smashnkill didn't have a pop filter, so we opted to use 2 socks instead.

awesome great to hear! Also, just a suggestion, but I found the "WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT THING?" line from The Admiral to be hilarious, I know it isn't the Tactician's way but it would be very funny to have one random line that is just them being surprised or hectic haha

I've gotten in touch with the old crews and it seems like they're also waiting for the new update to drop.

Also in other news I've got an old project from back in 2022 to working order and you'll probably see a new advisor coming out very soon.

Same here, was super excited when you mentioned possibly doing new/updated lines. I use this every time I play, and absolutely love it. More variety or even just new lines for the recent updates would be awesome!

Glad to know there's still interest. I will probably update this when the new 4.0 update comes out. The main reason I lost interest in this game was the whole pop system lol.

this is very good stuff and I would love to see it brought up to date and touched up on. Most the advisor voice mods are either unimmersive or low quality so this is like an oasis in a desert.
