SOME blueprints are worth more than the regular recipes, but not all. TL;DR: Cloutium items except pipes are worth it, just about everything else can be considered a waste.
Iron: The best worth per weight in the blueprints is the teapot, at 15/weight, which is the same as the iron dagger. As such, both hand axe and sword are worth more per weight. The toolbag is a down-right waste of money. IF you manage to get an ingot at EXACTLY 18 weight, you'll be using 216c worth of iron ingot, while a toolbag costs 220c. This means it's better to craft ANY other item made of iron, sell that item, and buy a toolbag.
Cloutium: Now this is why you want to unlock blueprints. Cloutium has no use other than blueprint recipes. Cloutium bars are worth 40c/weight, and all non-pipe blueprints are worth more, with the blunderbuss being the top worth at 50c/weight, and the shield being the worst at 42c/weight. Pipes, just like toolbags, are a waste. IF you create an ingot with a weight of EXACTLY 0.5, you'll create a single pipe. Pipes are worth 22c, 0.5 cloutium is worth 20c. Benefits are marginal in the best case scenario, and a bar that weight anything over 0.55 will actually make you WASTE money if compared to selling the bar itself.
Nice one and thanks.
