The Home base starts as a Capsule like the coolant stations.



Once you dock to the pod, you can speak to the Home Base Upgrader to purchase the building. Wherever you choose to buy the home base all other locations will be available to you. No need to purchase or upgrade separately!

There are three tiers of home base.

The first tier costs $1000 and gives you access to a Shipwright and Forger. The shipwright does not let you purchase boats, but you can switch between the ones you already have.


The second tier of home base costs $5000 and gives you access to the Arms Dealer and Supply Merchant. The Arms Dealer lets you purchase different Torpedo and Cannons such as the Krakatoa and Krok.


The third tier costs $15000 and gives you access to a trader that allows you to purchase crew upgrades.
