Usefull information
Tab to access inventory

there are 5 keys in the mansion leading to shortcuts, Noahs key blocks of an area while the other keys areas can be accessed without a key but a door will be locked going from them towards the main hub.

To gain upgrade materials:
-Kill Butlers, the lantern wearing enemy you encounter in the tutorial. There are a limited number of them as they don't respawn.

-buy them from an npc located on the upper floors left door. 3 stones at a time with an increasing price, at first 5000 vitae then +1000 for each purchase.

-Finally there is a very small chance for enemies to drop them.

Upgrades:
After you kill your first boss, npcs will move into your main hub and they increase:

Bullets permanently by 1 for each 1000 vitae.

Needs Vitae stones: Vitae stone cost increases the more upgrades a stat has (been to long so don't remember if it increases for all upgrades or just vials)

Vials (Healing item) Vials price increases as you gain more upgrades after a certain point with +1 stone requirement for each. (don't know how many stones need to be spent to reach this point though.)

HP: the painting in main hub increases Hp (+15)

Damage: you can increase damage (+15) by going up and left (door near priest)

Stamina: (+15) up and right

Vials: Before any boss kill Vials (+1) is located up, left, left ,left

Ammo: (+1) is down, left then first door, up, left, left.

As far as I know, the cost of the injection upgrade starts at 1 yth stone, so It may be determined by "rank", which goes up when you increase your max health
