You can earn money in the following ways:

Objects. Ski stations, their facilities and hotels are your main source of income. The amount of income depends on the percentage of your popularity and satisfaction of target groups, as well as on the condition of your slopes. All ski stations and hotels are closed from 22:00 to 07:00 game time;
Missions. There are only 2 types of missions in the game: rescuing injured skiers and transporting cargo. The mission spawn frequency can be changed from 2 to 20 minutes or disabled (initially the frequency is 10 minutes);
Funicular control. A separate mission that can be started in the stations 'Hoger', 'Kaltenfels', 'Erlegrat', 'Gruebifeld', 'Ostblik', 'Elsigspitz' and 'Windighorn', regardless of whether you own them or not. Like the stations themselves, missions become unavailable from 22:00 to 07:00 in-game time;
Loans. The maximum amount of credit a player can take is 200,000 $ (with interest). At the beginning of the game, part of the credit will be taken;
Icicles. For each broken icicle, they give 5 $.

I will share some tips regarding progress in the game:

1) At the beginning of the game, it is first recommended to buy a Lizard Sherpa snowmobile, a transport sled and a rescue stretcher - they are necessary for the missions (see "Mission Master"). Over time, you can buy more expensive vehicles - a faster Lizard Turbo or Lizard ATV with a very large fuel reserve.

2) If you are planning on buying a new snowcat, the PistenBully 400 is the one to consider, as it has the largest fuel capacity of any snowcat (260 gallons versus 150 for the 100 and 220 for the 600). You can also buy the PistenBully Groomer 600, which can be used with any snowcat. 3) Some ski stations have parking lots that need to be cleared of snow periodically. In this case, it is more profitable to buy a Lizard Berta snowplow due to its low cost and good efficiency; you can also use snow plows as a cheaper, but not convenient alternative due to the physics of snow; you can also use a loader with a bucket for this, but it is better to use a wheel loader, since it has a very capacious bucket, and snow quickly accumulates in large quantities during cleaning.

Slopes can be processed either independently, using a snowcat with a groomer, or with the help of a hired assistant. It is better to first process the slope yourself by 70-90%, and then hire a hired assistant - complete independent processing will take a lot of time, and the services of a hired assistant are not cheap.

1) Before purchasing a new ski station, it is advisable to save some money to purchase facilities. Thus, after purchasing, you can immediately prepare it for guests’ services. 2) After purchasing ski stations and objects, do not forget to set normal prices, and the cost of day tickets - the recommended (it will grow with the purchase of new ski resorts and their facilities). The likelihood of attracting guests with low prices is minimal, and few people will be happy with high prices.

Hotels also bring good income, but they are expensive both to buy and to maintain daily. Buy them if you are sure that they can cover your expenses and if you own at least several ski stations and have a good reputation. It is highly recommended to focus on the needs and number of guests. Example: your ski resort is visited by 2000 people per day, 80% of them are family groups - in this case it will be more profitable for this group to buy 2 Children-Friendly hotels, 2 middle-class hotels and 1 luxury hotel.

Out of Debt

You paid back the entire bank loan.

Necessary to repay the bank loan. This can be done in the "Finance" section via ATMs or by pressing the O button.

Fresh Hotelier

You bought your first hotel.

Necessary just buy any hotel in Stutzmatt.

Advice: All hotels have different prices. It is more profitable to buy the cheapest hotel in the amount of 125,000 $.

Master of Stations

You own all the ski region's stations.

Necessary to own all 11 ski stations in Stutzmatt.

From the very beginning of the game, 2 ski stations become available to us. The remaining 9 must be bought in the amount of 4,340,000 $ (without buying all the facilities for them).

Mobile Manager

You have covered more than 100 miles with vehicles.

Very Frequent Driver

Your total driving distance has increased to over 1000 miles.

Necessary to drive 100 and 1000 miles in any vehicle. You can track your mileage on your PDA in the “Statistics” section.

Longplayer

Your playing time in a single savegame has reached over 10 hours.

Necessary to complete 10 hours of play in one of the six saves. The time spent on saving can be viewed in the list of saves or on your PDA in the “Statistics” section.

A Game of Gnomes

You found 25 garden gnomes.

Halfling Gnome

You found half of all the garden gnomes.

Necessary to find 25, 50, 100 gnomes in Stutzmatt. The number of gnomes found is displayed on your PDA in the “Statistics” section.

The only reward for finding all the gnomes is these 3 achievements.

Please note that some gnomes are in hard-to-reach places - in this case you need to hit them with a snowball.

Manager of the Year

Your popularity has reached 100%.

Necessary to reach 100% popularity. Popularity changes every day depending on the percentage of daily happiness of the target groups. If at least one of the five target groups is 50% happy for the day, then your popularity increases by 1% (in general, it will take 95 game days to reach 100% reputation - we start the game itself with 5% reputation).

Mission Master

You have completed 50 missions.

Necessary to complete a total of over 50 skier rescue and cargo transport missions. You can track the number of completed missions on your PDA in the "Statistics" section.

Advice: In the game settings, you can change the period of appearance of missions from 2 to 20 minutes at a time. Thus, in addition to the achievement, you will receive a good source of income both at the beginning of the game and if you have little money left.

Global Happiness

All target groups have reached a happiness of at least 50%.

Necessary that the daily happiness % of all target groups must be greater than 50%. The happiness % of all target groups depends on how satisfied they are with your services. Change the type of service in a timely manner in some of the facilities of the ski stations (restaurants, conferences, theaters, etc.) that guests need the most (at least once a day). The % Happiness of target groups can be tracked in the "Statistics" section of the game save settings.

Swamped!

More than 3000 guest have visited your ski region in one day.

It is necessary that your ski resort should be visited by more than 3,000 guests per day. The number of daily guest visits depends on the % of your popularity and the cleanliness of parking lots, as well as on the affiliation of ski stations with their facilities and hotels. The number of guests arriving per day can be checked in the game menu in the “Statistics” section.

Advice: You will most likely get this achievement if your popularity percentage reaches 80-100% and you become the owner of all ski resorts with their amenities and some hotels.

Financial Folly

You managed to reach a negative balance on your very first day.

Necessary to spend all the money on the first day of the game until the balance goes negative.

Icicle Rampage

You smashed 50 icicles by throwing snowballs at them.

Necessary to destroy over 50 icicles with snowballs. Destroyed icicles are always restored after each entry into the game. In addition, they give $5 for a destroyed icicle.

To make it easier to find icicles, you can use the map presented in the section "Savior of Gnomes".
