Finnish Signs Pack

This is a pack that contains about 35 common Finnish commercial signs as props. Finally you can Finnish your city! Two new signs were added 5.8.2020.

You need mods to place these props outside Asset Editor.

• Firstly you need Find It! or similar mod to access the props. This mod helps finding the props also in the Asset Editor.
  
• Secondly, you probably also need Prop & Tree Anarchy mod to gain more freedom in placing the props.
  
• Thirdly, Prop Snapping mod makes it easier to place props on buildings.

With Find It! mod you can find the signs by searching FIN Sign.
The signs are named FIN Sign <name> (<position>/<type>).
Position defines how the prop is meant to be placed. There are two options:

• II means parallel to the wall. Props have blank back sides, they should be placed either on a wall or on roof.
  
• T means perpendicular to the wall. Props are two-sided and they have kind of an arm that goes to the wall.

Type describes how the prop looks. Type is either E as in extruded letters or B as in box shape (more or less).

Only one prop in this pack has more 1000 tris. Depending on the complexity of the sign the tris count varies from 12 to 976. The largest texture file is 512×512 px, but most texture files are smaller than this.
Some signs are self-illuminated during the night.

There's one prop that has 1792 tris. It's the one that spells Supermarket. Typically one extruded character takes 100–200 tris, so squeezing a logo and 11 characters under 1000 is quite impossible without losing details.

I take requests to add more signs to this pack. When I add new signs, I will update the date on the special sign, seen on the rooftop in the slideshow. You can find this sign by name FIN Sign Info (Special).
