Jotunn - Self-conscious - Nerfed (Balanced)

Description
!THIS IS THE NERFED VERSION OF JOTUNN!
Link to the full-powered version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2182762687

Name: JOTUNN
Price: 6,000 credits
Player-count: 1-14
Dimensions: 34 x 15 m

Jotunn is a hangar ship designed to survive and explore. It's large body makes it clumsy at getting close to objectives, but it makes up for it by carrying three small battery-driven shuttles (Totems) in its hangar which can be deployed to be used for completing objectives.

Jotunn has a built-in intelligence into the terminal. With it one can adjust and manage some of the backup and automatic systems within the submarine. There is also a simple conversation system built into it with some surprises that can be unlocked through chatting with Jotunn.

If you want a reliable ship and more fast-paced gameplay from a self-conscious and mysterious submarine then Jotunn is for you.

Jotunn's terminal is very self-explanatory because of the built in help-log. Use the monitor room for observing some of the key-states for various parameters.

What was changed:
The engine max-force reduced to 12% to match Azimuth's speed on max-stance.
All containers were emptied and filled using the tagging system (randomized but type-specific content).
Power plant max-output reduced from 20k to 8k and consumption rate doubled (to make the backup-system more rewarding).
Halved the backup-battery capacity.
Nerfed shuttles.
Check update notes to see more changes.

"Jotunn. Deep into the northern hemisphere of mother Earth. At the cold tundras of Midgard, the realm of mortals. Up on the lone shiverpeaks of the glacial mountain tops. This is where the Jotnar belonged, and where they lived, for thousands of years, until the age of man. The fall of the Jotnar cannot be traced, for any and all recordings have long been forgotten. Some believe they still exist, hidden under the ice of the Arctic. In their memory, the Jotunn-class deep diver has been engineered."

Let me know if you think this ship is too powerful still and please include a suggestion on what to change.

I really adore the ship, and I appreciate the nerfs, but I really think 4 small hardpoints and 2 large gunpoints are far far too much for a tier 1 scout ship. Most vanilla tier 1 ships usually come with 2-3 small hardpoints, and you usually have to buy the third turret one. I absolutely love the double layered glass command room, and the shuttles just makes me love this ship! :))

I have updated the AI, "help" message should now work.

I feel like it could definitely use a little more to be desired. GREAT FUCKING CONCEPT AND GREAT EXECUTION b4 I get started with criticisms TOP DOLLAR SUB ANY BEGINNER with more than 3 crewmates should consider. Its speaking ability is really lacking it doesn't respond to a host of common phrases.

I think the shuttle battery on this version is too limited to be useful. It lasts for like 3 minutes with the search light on, which isn't any good for exploring wrecks. Still, this is one of my favourite subs. I got a good laugh from the "AI".

Sweet. Coverage balanced a bit with low starting firing rate. Only did like 3 or 4 trips with it yet.

Huge fan of this, thanks for making a nerfed version!

Yes I have plans on expanding the AI, but not for this ship. Feel free to build upon this, just don't forget to mention me as the author for the parts i made :) Also, if you visibly separate your expansion of the AI, it'd be easy to merge various future expansions to create very smart ships.

Comments are finally fixed! Love this sub. We had a hilarious time speaking with the AI even with its small dialogue. Are there any plans to expand the AI or would you mind if someone expanded the concept (and components) for their own "HAL" ship? I'd like to make a "haunted" ship that does spooky stuff like randomly preventing players from leaving ballasts or depowering the oxygen system until someone tells it to turn it back on.
