How do we start
Ok now for this guide i will leave out commanders. Commanders arent a real concern for the germans

Now first things first
In order to use the germans effectively you will need to know what to do but in order to do so you need to take a look at what has to be done.
So you now need fulfill these objectives if you are to stand a chance against the soviets

Objectives:
Capture 2 victory points from the start
Capture at least 1 munitions point and a feul point
Set up defenses
Own at least 2 at guns
capture all feul points (optional objective)



ok now begin building the starting support company and build at least 1 mg and a grenadier squad
the mg will be to protect your precious victory points. Now start capping points and cap a lot of points, the russians are weakest when spread out and remember to phase up

You now probably have half of the points on the map. The enemy will now either spam conscripts mortars and mgs. capatilise on this by spreading out your grenadiers also remember grenadiers have rifle grenades and are more powerful than conscripts. Just be careful of molotovs also beware they may try to overwhelm you with multipl conscript squads

now start moving to phase 2
Midgame
Now you know how to start it is time to move into the middle game.

This is where it gets interesting as well as difficult. Now you have most of the german arsenal at your feet and it might seem tempting to overpower the enemy with your 4 panzer IV backed up by a stockpile of 150 feul. This is a common mistake and even i fell for this trap and it cost me a tiger ace in later game. So you may have power but the enemy can still destroy your wermacht. Now build at least 2 stugs i know you will all be thinking oh but the stug is too weak etc. i know but against infantry and at guns they create chaos also stugs are cheap compared to the panzer. Use the stug and panzer IV to a great extent

By this time the enemy will spam theyre cheap t34 so now cap all feul points. Deny the enemy feul for if they get large stockpiles of feul they will outnumber and overpower you. also keep spamming grenadiers,stugs and panzer IV. Now here comes the unpredictable Soviet overpowering force.

so now theyre bringing out the big guns like at guns and spamming t34 tanks. At this point in the game you should probably keep your panzer IV but this tank will gradually fade away as the game progresses while you focus more on heay tanks. Useful tip always keep at leas 1 panzer IV in reserve as it is still a good tank that can mow down the enemy. By now grenadiers will be too weak to go directly in combat so now you must start building halftracks,panzergrenadiers and scout cars. The enemy will spam tanks but they still need infantry to cap points so by using these mentioned above you will deny the enemy resources by 1 killing theyre troops and 2 preventing them from gaining regions and resources

With your map domination you are starving them if this doesnt happen dont worry it is a disadvantage but not the worst situation in the game

Late game
If you kept your points protected and your lines intact in the middle game the late game will be a breeze but if you did not deny the enemy resources you must be prepared for the worst



Now this is a crucial moment because this is where thing become unpredictable. Now if you screwed up your mid game then its time to heal a bit so defend mostly. Keep them from capping points especialy feul and start to build at guns. Now build the mighty panzer V because this powerful tank destroys su-85 easily as well as t34 however it is slow and can easily be destroyed by a combination of 1 at gun and a su-85. This tank is your battering ram use it to break theyre infantry lines use it to destroy fortified areas do anything to weaken your opponent. The Panzer V is not invincible so by now you will lose your first panzer V which means youre doing things right. If you had a great mid game you will even be able to charge in the enemies base and meet little resistance and you will definitely win but if you had a average or bad midgame then you will have a fight on your hands

Now bring out your big guns such as howitsers Tigers all of these depend on which commander you have chosen

Rules for tiger and tiger ace
if you bring out a normal tiger keep him behind and on the flamks because he can be easily crippled by a t34 ram and then it will be a sitting duck so move it around annoy enemy infantry and keep denying the enemy resources. Now the massive tiger ace charge it only when you know you will easily destroy the enemy. The tiger ace is not invinceble it can be crippled by guards rifle infantry battered by a t34 engine ram and defeated by a kv2 and 2 IS 2's all of the mentioned above can do a lot of damage and all of the mentioned above will destroy a tiger and tiger ace




So protect your tigers use them wisely.

Now time to finish the enemy off. Now spam Panzer V panzergrenadiers and at guns. Make sure you cap all feul and munitions points. It is crucial in this stage of the game of make sure they cannnot mak armour and amass a massive counter attack that may cripple you. For in case set up mines and other at defenses. Now that they are starved out tankless and struggling to survive charge in with your tiger or panzer V with infantry supporting them. By this time hold the line just close to theyre base charging in may be suicidal. Keep starving them while the victory points count down. If you didnt create a line here then there is little hope of completely starving them but you can still win

By now they will barely have a conscript squad. Congrats you can now play with the germans but remember try things out use different strategies and tacitcs swap commanders etc. you neve know you may even become a tourny player

I beat a Soviet force built on T-34s and KV-1s with 10 Pumas, these Panzer V spammings are over-rated.

Interesting guide... but in my opinion, Commanders are IMPORTANT. Ex.- Assault Support- very agressive, gets you a TIGER TANK! Important... osttruppen- much infantry early on, cap a lot. Important...

Guide is fine and comprehensible.
Maybe the early stage guide (how we start) is a bit too short, in my opinion the game decides in this early phase.
