Prelude, Penny's Fall
As soon as you gain control of Penny, go left and meet Penny’s boyfriend. Continue going left until you see a car. Get in the it and go all the way to the right, until a crash occurs.
When you get out of the car, go right until you reach a mausoleum. Penny will fall down.
First chapter, a Lick of Death
After talking to Skipper Blackstone, go upward, then go right until you see Death and a ghost. You will encounter some ghosts on the way. Talk to them.

After the cutscene go left and talk to Lady Elderdough, and follow her instructions.
Then, go left until you see a human you can possess (a purple silhouette). If you have enough critters, you can possess him. You may read his mind and control him. Unpossess Leuk (his silhouette is now yellow and you won't have to spend critters to possess him again) and listen to the mission Lady Elderdough gives you: finding who killed here.

First, find a way across the lake. Lady Elderdough will show you the way. Go left and jump off of the ledge, Penny will see the map on the scythe, you can open it. Continue left until you reach Skipper Blackstone. You can can see a ghost hand on the way, it will be useful later, as Vera tells you. He wants a blue paint can to paint his boat.
Other characters and ghosts have now appeared,as you can see on the map. Going right you can see a floating ghost with an yellow eye. If you grasp to it with the scythe, it will bring you up on a high platform, helping you reach the objective shown on the map. Possess the human with a mask and "poke" the lever using his ability. It will the can and release the monster inside
You now have to move the paint can to the “other side”.
Unpossess Pokeman and lure the monster to the ghost hand you saw earlier
Go higher to possess the dentist (you can use the floating ghost. Go right outside the clinic to reach the paint can. Open it using the dentist's drill, it will spray paint on the grave.
Unpossess the dentist and possess George Poorington. Make him lick the painted grave. You now paint the boat using his tongue. A new area is now open,

When you switch dimenson, Lady Elderdough will ask you to find the mansion in the forest
Grasp on the floating ghost and jump up on the ledge. Collect a new type of ghost critters. A bear will ask you to help him to move the house on his den.
Continue going left, collecting the critters. Lady Elderdough is waiting for you near a monster house; you will have to wake up the mansion. Go possess the lumberjack to use his axe on the house.
Unpossess the lumberjack and go all the way to the right, to talk to the bear.

Go to the other shore of the lake possess George. Bring him to his home and make him lick the body in the freezer, his tongue will stick to it. Unpossess him and go possess the Police Officer, then go back into George's house to arrest him.
Second chapter, The Doppelganger
After the cutscene, go right to encounter a ghost named Jenny. She will ask you to help her to recover from the coma. Then, you will meet the ghost of Captain Grandslam, who asks you to help his descendant to git gud at tennis. You can see a ghost hand, on his right.

Open the map and to your right you see 2 points marked on it. Reaching the first one, you will see a "cactus-monster". Lure it into the ghost hand passing over all the higher ledges.
Now reach the second point on the map. Here, you will see a big ghost critter. Touch it, to trigger a countdown. You have to get all ghost critters that appeared, before the times runs out.

Go all the way to the far right. On the path going there, you will encounter two knights who ask you to rescue their remains. Then, you will find a other ghost critters, inside an enemy that will chase you. Avoid it long enough and it will explode.

Teleport to Pokeman and possess him. Going left, you will find a magnet that you can activate by pushing the lever.
Unpossess Pokeman and possess the big whale. Make it jump out of the water, it will be attracted by the magnet. Swing her from left to right to make it fly away.

Go to Doctor Rubert to possess him. Use his hammer to make the bowling balls slide out of the window. Unpossess him and possess Bjorn (with the tennis racket). Try to hit bowling balls from the stairs. He will break his arm.

Unpossess Bjorn and possess the vulture on the roof of the Hospital. You will find an arm between the graves to the right. Take it and drop it in the hospital chimney.

Go possess Sally the bird to poop into the cauldron. Now, possess the chef and shoot meatballs to the dog hanging off the balloon until the cactus pop the balloon.
Possess Meatball, go to the machine with the magnet on the left. Barf at the cat, a door will open.

Go possess Bjorn again and now hit bowling ball to the hospital window. Enter the hospital and push Jenny out of the window, then push her off of the ledge and bring her to the left, in place of the tires, above the whale. Now, possess the trumpeter and reach the whale.
After the cutscene, you can possess the whale to blow and push Jenny on her bike.

Possess her follow the road to the biker bar. Get inside.
Third chapter, Sixty Feet Under
After the cutscene, go right and touch the big ghost critter to start the countdown and collect the critters. At the end of the race you’ll encounter a ghost trapped that will ask you to free them. On the right, there is another big ghost critter to collect. The small critters will lead you to Captain Nemo. He asks you to reunite him with a mermaid. Going left, you can see the silhouette of the mermaid. Continue on the left to find another big ghost critter. This time, it will lead you to the ghost of a wolf you can talk to.

Now, you see 2 markers on the map to the far east. Go to the second point. On the path you should see a ghost hand. Defeat the Tentaghoul by avoid him, then go upward until you encounter a ghost dressed as Santa Claus (Jenny's father).
Reach the other point marked on the map, you will find a monster: lure him to the ghost hand. He will appear to be a bubblegum distributor.

Possess the firefight and reach the house where the rests of Santa Claus are. Put out the fire in the chimney. Now, possess Tina and go to the bubblegum distributor just below. She can now fly using bubblegum. Go into the chimney by blowing bubbles.
After the cutscene reach the Fire Station (still possessing Tina) and terrorize the firefighter inside, until he dies.
After the cutscene (in which Vera's fire is extinguished), find and possess the Doctor, bring him to the firefighter and revive him.

Possess the magician (above the fire station). Bring him to the witch hat showed by Vera in the cutscene. Now, transform the rabbit in the hat in a frog (go back above the fire station).

Possess the lumberjack selling chainsaws. Push the cart into the sea.
Now, possess the mermaid, go to the cart to take a chainsaw and cut the chains blocking the tunnel.
Possess the frog and reach the fountain below. Go the the submarine to activate it. Now, direct the missile to the metal door on the top right, by pushing it.
Repossess the mermaid and go to the rests of Captain Nemo in the submarine. Then, cut the chains on the left.
Fourth chapter, A Black Day for a Blacksmith
After the cutscene, go right past the two lovers, to Vera (not dead this time... yet).
After the cutscene, unpossess Beth and collect the big ghost critter above Vera. Then possess the Cardinal and use his holy water to extinguish the pyre. Go all the way to the right and defeat the Tentaghoul. Go back to the lovers and possess Harold. Cut Vera's pole.

Still possessing Harnold, go left past the furnace. There are two trees, cut them and push 5 logs into the furnace. Unpossess Harold and go where Vera is burning. Possess her and use the fire on her head to light the furnace to the far right.

After the cutscene, possess the trumpeter and blow on the furnace.

At last you can fix the scythe. Possess Beth and hit 3 times the scythe with her hammer.
Fifth chapter, Gain a Skull, Lose a Boyfriend
After the cutscene, go to the left to possess a crab a pass the rock on his right. Go left to collect a ghost critter. A cutscene will start at the end of the path.
Then, go all the way to the right.

After the cutscene, you have to possess Elliot but he is depressed. Above him there is the ghost of an alien who asks you to find the “secret agent”. The secret agent is in fact Priscilla, the granny on the wheelchair. Possess her and make her touch the pedestal with a transceiver on top.

After the cutscene, use the beeping of the transceiver to detect and close the secret wardrobe, then exit. Go right using car and elevators and reach the place to the left of the fountain. Reveal Robot Elvis. Now reach the harbor on the right. Reveal the “Zombifier Mark 7” (which become a monster in the Afterlife) . Now take two elevators and reveal the space ship.

Go possess the kid with the big head and bring him where the ship is. It's in fact the alien queen.

Go where the Museum is in Reality to possess the Police Officer (Ronald).
After the cutscene, you have to find a psychiatristm, to help Ronald. Possess Ronald and bring him to Doctor Brom.

After the cutscene possess Brom and move his right arm until Ronald falls asleep. Unpossess Brom and go back to the museum to repossess Ronald. Use his arm to hack the door fusebox to unlock it and exit the museum.
Enter Priscilla’s house (on the 2nd floor) and hack Mombot directing the hacking arm down through the floor.
Reposs Dr. Brom and go back to Elliott. Rejoyce him by raising your arm in the air near him.
Possess Elliott a go to the right by car, to his father shop, where your doppelganger is.

After the cutscene, you can lure the monster on the harbor (Zombifier Mark 7) to a ghost hand on the left, after the water.
Possess the alpaca and reach the pet cemetery to the far right. You can spit on the doppelganger, making them drop the skull, but cannot reach it. To do so, go possess Queen Quantibleen and approach her to the cemetery. First make the skull fall with the alpaca, then attract the skull with your light beam by possessing Queen Quantibleen.
Sixth chapter, The Life and Death of a Woodsman
Possess Harold the woodsman and go left to the ghost hand. You will have to search for wolves.
Unposses Harold and right to talk to the ghost hanging on the tree, he will ask you to save mother wolf. Continue going right and collect the big ghost critter.
Possess Tina that you passed just before the critter. Chew the rock on the left, then those on the right, blocking the path to the wolf and Luke to release them. Then howl to Tina. Make her follow you to surround Harold.

After the cutscene, you have to find a way to cut Harold’s head off. Go to the exclamation point on then map to defeat the two Tentaghouls. Then, go possess Sir Bragalot (the Knight) and go to attack the windmill. Slay it at the bottom. The windmill is truly a monster, so lure him to the ghost hand where Harold is. Now possess the trumpeter, bring him to the windmill and blow to the blades, making them twist at high speed. Possess Harold and jump below the blades to cut his head off.
Seventh and final chapter, Flipping Death
After the cutscene you have to find Regan. Go right until you find the coffin where she’s trapped, talk to her and try to possess your body, but you need 20 ghost critters. Go to the far east to find a big ghost critter. Collect it. After the cutscene go to possess your body. Jump with your coffin to the left, then up and right to jump off of the cliff to break the coffin.

After another cutscene, go east and reach the pet cemetery where the Wolf is.

After the cutscene, follow Mama Wolf to Harold’s bones (open the map to follow her). Vera appears and teaches you how to attack ghouls. But, your power isn’t strong enough, you must collect eleven ghosts. Track the using the map.
After you have collected them all, you can banish the ghouls from possessed people. Mama Wolf tells you she smells Harold’s bones in some houses: in the Police Station, the Museum and the Hospital.
After you collecting them, go to the harbor and get on the boat and cross the water, then go to the far right.

After the cutscene, throw your scythe to possessed Elliot banishing the ghoul.

Congratulations, you have finished the game. Or did you ? ... You can complete the chapters if you didn't do every challenge and chase Dr Laser.
