What this guide will cover
This guide will cover:
  • How to navigate the UI
  • What the keybinds are
  • Spawn pre-made rooms and objects

This guide will not cover:
  • How to make custom rooms
  • How to make custom objects
  • Anything that requires the Unity Editor
  • Scripting
The Guide Itself
The map editor has four different panels
  • Object Spawner (Left)
  • Keybinds (Top)
  • Toolbar (Bottom)
  • Object Properties

The Toolbar contains all your tools for editing maps (save, load, etc.) and is always visible.
The Object Spawner is visible after clicking the "Rooms" or "Objects" button in the toolbar, and will list all the possible objects you can spawn in the map.
The Object Properties will only be visible after selecting only one object with editable properties.

In order to look around, right click to toggle fly mode.
If you want to spawn a room next to an existing room, you can do so by selecting the room you want to connect to, pressing the button where the door would be, and spawning in the new room via the Object Spawner.
If you want to rotate a room 90 degrees, just press the rotate key while no advanced tools are selected.

To use the advanced tools (translate, rotate, and scale), you can just click the button in the Toolbar to enable it, and click the button again to disable it.
Advanced tools all use the "Translate" keybind to use them.
Final notes
Please be aware of how large your map is along the up/down axis. Certain features are automatically made a certain heights (around 5000 units up and down is a good rule of thumb).
