I'd say the biggest challenge probably was the either the beach side or the lighting. I had to do a lot of work to make the displacement look nice, and then I had to find a leak in my map on the other side of it because a texture I use allowed light through it. But the lighting was hard to choose and I had to mess with it a bit to get what is in the final product.
What would you say was your biggest challenge when making your map?
