@Silverblade With my luck, I could play it a X times with the same cards, make the video, then find out on the X+1 try the card order decided then to change. It's been a couple years since I last played, but that would be the literal definition of a bug, game play not matching the given rule set. I wasn't going to take time to make an optimal solution guide video based on something that is broken in the game; whether the developers ever plan to fix it by changing the game play or updating the rules around the challenge i don't know.

I don't see how you could have played the challenge and NOT have noticed that the cards are exactly the same every time. It's not a bug, they simply failed to list all the rules for the stage properly. It's by far the hardest of the pack.

@Silverblade The game doesn't claim the cards are predetermined, unlike the other challenges where it is explicitly listed as part of the rule set. You are either lucky to get the same cards (deck drawn RNG doesn't reset if you just hit try again button only if you quit to the menu), or the game has another bug.

"Unlike the other challenges, this one doesn't have a predetermined card order so you are on your own figuring out the exact order you need to purchase cards and pick up gems"

Yeah, no. The cards are very much predetermined. Useless.
