AE Fighter Revelation (new)

Description
All Environment Fighter
------------------------------------------------

-------------
Description
-------------
This is the standard fighter that is carried by the new Revelation carrier.

Like the old Revelation, the fighter also got a complete overhaul. This resulted in a ship,
that is vastly improved compared to its predecessor. This new fighter has a heavier
armament than the old one, but is considerably lighter. Thus the Revelation can
carry a lot more of them.

The ship is approximately 15,000.00kg lighter than its predecessor, which doesn't sound
like a lot at first. But when you multiply this by 64 fighters, you get a not insignificant
amount of saved mass (it's almost a million kg). With the lost weight also comes a smaller
silhouette, making it easier for the fighter to evade enemy fire.

The new fighter kept the gatling gun layout from the old one, since it is nice and
central, so all your guns have a good chance to be on target. On top of that the fighter
now also has two normal rocket launchers, giving it limited bombing capabilities. It can
now also be used as a close air support vessel.

There are still no tilting engines on this craft, for the same reasons there were none on
the old fighter. They would just break more easily in a combat situation. The ship can still
hover at any altitude, but it is better in low altitudes and high in space.
To save power the ship now also has a cruise mode, that turns off all forward facing thrusters. This
can be used in space or in an atmosphere.

The ship runs on battery power and should only be recharged on the Carrier. It has a small reactor as a backup power unit, but it exists mostly so you can still operate all the buttons on the toolbar in case you run out of energy, or switch to reload the batteries. The auxiliary reactor should be kept offline during normal operation.

To dock and undock the ship correctly you just need to use the buttons on the
second toolbar in order. More info on that can be found in the toolbars section
below.
