Thruster damage range in atmosphere

*These values are at sea level*

Large Grid

Ion Large = 2 blocks,
Ion Small = 2 blocks

Atmospheric Large = 5 blocks,
Atmospheric Small = 2 blocks

Hydrogen Large = 7 blocks,
Hydrogen Small = 3 blocks

Small Grid (rounded up values he mentioned in the video)

Ion Large = 3 blocks,
Ion Small = 2 blocks

Atmospheric Large = 5 blocks,
Atmospheric Small = 2 blocks

Hydrogen Large = 9 blocks,
Hydrogen Small = 3 blocks

These values are quite old and may of changed. I took these values from splisie's video from 2017. And I'm not exactly sure what you mean by engine displacement in reference to SE. The damage does decrease and increase based upon engine thrust output though.

Another theory on why large grid hydrogen thruster damage range could seem to be 2 blocks is that over a long period of time that block will take damage but not enough for it to be immediately noticeable. However this is unlikely since a few years back they did change how thrust damage worked maybe causing these values to change. What I may do when i get time it to test it myself and update the values.

Do these values take into account engine displacement? I saw that hydrogen engine on large grid damages only two blocks with a jet from a nozzle, not 3 as you said.
