I'll leave you a comment when I get it finished.

Yeah just a coppers hard top, wild west whiskers, and the Siberian Sophisticate.

What cosmetics? I'm guessing a Copper's Hard Top. If the work is light enough I'll just do it for free.

Hey! Is there a way I could commission you to make a custom version of the heavy for personal use? I can list the cosmetics if you can and will pay for the model.

I don't mind at all if you don't want to.

typically for cosmetics i get the enhanced ones off the SFM/GMod workshop

so long as the model has the correct weights/bones you can get it from tf2, modelsresource, or anywhere else tbqh

But how do you get the models? Just extract from TF2 I guess?

Ah, well I don't have much experience in blender but I'll see what I can make!

to elaborate; all cosmetics have practically identical weights and bone structures to the merc that they are meant to be equipped upon, so in practice it really is as easy as a drag and drop

take the model of the cosmetic and merge it with the skeleton of the merc in blender. reassign weights as needed and export. (obviously you must use the correct bodygroups of the merc as to avoid clipping)
