Deep Sea Pack

Our expedition to the deep has come back with several specimens from the deep down dark deep down for your aquariums!

This pack includes:

Deep-Sea Sole (Embassichthys bathybius) - A deep-sea flatfish with beautiful patterning. Be careful to not house them with small fish or crustaceans, as they form the sole's natural diet.

Taiwan Spurdog (Squalus formosus) - A small shark, only recently discovered at a Taiwanese fish market.

Okinawa Chromis (Chromis okamurai) - A rare chromis hailing from Japan. Their peaceful nature makes them ideal tankmates for animals too small to eat them.

Fire-Breathing Shrimp (Acanthephyra purpurea) - A bright red shrimp that does not actually breathe fire. It can spit a blue bioluminescent mucus to startle predators, and make it's escape.

Deep-Sea Skate (Bathyraja abyssicola) - A common bycatch species in deep-sea trawls.

Mino Nylon Shrimp (Heterocarpus sibogae) - Like the Fire-Breathing Shrimp, this species can spit a glowing blue mucus when threatened.
