Description :
Strange mushroom clouds blooming on the horizon, the rumours are spreading. CBE Supreme Doomrocket is a graphical mod with purpose to make this outlandishly powerful weapons visually more extreme and persistant.

This is a standalone part of Cinematic Battle Effects, so it doesn't need the main mod to works properly. I'm working on that for so long now that I doesn't know if i'm still in the right direction, so I will be very happy of any feedback or ideas.
I will do a vanilla friendly version (smaller) when this one was finished for the main CBE mod.


FAQ :
- Is this mod contain VFX and external movie packs file ?
Yes this mod contain VFX files. However you don't need additional external files because the new CA launcher support movie packs now, that's why it's requiered. So you must enable it into your launcher like a regular mod.
I don't know about unofficial launchers.

- My Launcher doesn't support movie pack files.
You can use these external movie pack files instead, available here[drive.google.com]
Put one of them into your game data folder, by default : "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data". Delete it to uninstall.
You must repeat the operation after each update. (no actions into the launcher required)


To Do :
- Improve lower smoke column transitions.
- improve smoke opacity to have a good render in all maps.
- Improve ashes color, stages and duration.
- Add warp lightnings into the clouds.
- Look if that's also impact the campaign explosion effect, and adapt it if that's not correct.
(if you have a savegame that can works without specific mods just before a city doom explosion, I'm really interested)



Compatibility :
- Designed for v1.12.x of CA game version. (The Hammers & Herdstones Update & DLCs)
- Requiere the new CA launcher or KMM to works.
- Savegames compatible.

- Conflicting with Mother of All Bombs.

Much like. Yes, yes!

Only suggestion; replace the glowy green ground with something a little more...subtle lol. I know this mod isn't subtle at all but it looks like Ghostbusters were busy wherever a nuke goes off.

I can increase the ground smoke opacity on close view but it will flicker with the border of the camera. Not sure if I must do that, it's a bit disturbing, what do you think ?

Hi I'm the creator of Mother of all Bombs. It's a very well done mod. Keep going I love your work !
@ tastiger841: I think this mod is way more balanced with the doomrocket gameplay outcome on the battlefield + It's seem to me less buggy with the "nuclear cloud" effect for a very cool improvement on the graphical level.
My mod on the other side, is trying to make something more close to a real "irl nuke" (with a subtle skavenish / magical twist), which is visible with the large initial flash, shockwave on entire map, a big nuclear cloud and a representation of the "radioactive fallouts", BUT it's also very inconsistent from some angles and very VERY unbalanced with the gameplay outcome (my nuclear cloud is way too much large compared to the damages done on the units).
You can also directly compare the two videos, from my mod and this one!
