The way it works is.....

When you load the game, if your custom image is present in the specified directory with the specified filename, it will REPLACE your current chalkboard image on new or existing saved free play levels.

Once the design is loaded onto the chalkboard, you can either save the level with the blue pill to save the design into your saved game file, or you can take the red pill and not save, any original chalkboard stuff will still be in your previous saved game file.

So basically, if the image is in the folder, it will display on the board. If you want to store the design in your saved game file, then save it. If you don't want the design showing up, remove it from the folder, or rename the file.

First we need to set up the image location
Open a file explorer window and go to this location on your PC:

"C:\Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\LocalLow\ScopatGames\vrkshop" (this is your save game folder)

Now make a new folder called "FreePlayChalkBoard". That's it.

When you create a design, you will put the file in this new folder.
Image creation
There are a few basic rules to creating the image.

1: The image must be in the resolution of 2048 x 1024 pixels (width x height)
2: The image must be named "activeImage.png" (so save as PNG format... and the file name is camel case with lowercase 'a' capital 'I')
3: The image must be grayscale. White is 100% chalk, Black is 0% chalk, and shades of gray will be semi transparent.
4: Don't paint on the top most 30 pixels, that part gets cropped off the chalkboard.

@Pineapple Cool! that's what i usually use it for as well.
In my Big house build level i've worked on for over 2 years, I always have my blueprints on the board. Makes it so much easier have pre-made plans to follow along to

very useful. I was able to do some messing around in GIMP to alter some blueprints, thank you very much.

Is there a way to add .OBJ? It would be cool to be able to add blender assets.
