New biome:
This mod adds in a new swampy version of the ashlands biome, with new plants, items and animals. The ashlands swamp has comparatively denser foliage than the ashlands, though nowhere near as dense as vanilla swampy biomes. Marsh and mud cover much of the landscape, forcing one to build around the terrain requirements. Ashstorms and corprus are less frequent, though still a constant threat.

The biome spawns using the same check as the ashlands biome, with an altered swampiness requirement. It may not appear on certain seeds.

New animals:
This mod features four new animals, the mudcrab, the swamp jelly, the swamp strider and the wamasu. Mudcrabs are a surprisingly dangerous opponent, often spreading swamp fever through bites. The swamp jelly is relatively peaceful, though attacks from its tentacles cause rapid toxic buildup. The swamp strider is a much smaller, and more common, cousin of the silt strider, the moss that grows on its back can be periodically sheared as an alternative to hay. Lastly, the wamasu is capable of releasing large electric pulses when hurt, and its attacks cause additional emp damage.

Several animals from other MorrowRim mods are also more, or less, common than in the ashlands.

New plants:
Several new plants can be found growing in these swamps, including a regional variety of the emporer parasol, the weeping parasol. Draggle tails can be found growing on marshy terrain, which give off a small amount of light. Miasma sponge can be seen dotted throughout the swamp. These frequently release a cloud of miasma, causing rapid toxic buildup to all standing within. The spore pods of both slough ferns and filter ferns can be used to create two new types of elixir.

Several plants from other MorrowRim mods are also more, or less, common than in the ashlands.
