Home Signals
One steady red light means danger and you must not pass it.

One steady green light means proceed.

One steady yellow light means caution, expect danger (next signal will be at danger).

One green flashing light means proceed, expect speed restriction.

One flashing yellow light and one steady yellow light means speed restriction, expect danger.

One flashing yellow light and one steady green means speed restriction, expect proceed or carefully.

One flashing yellow light and one flashing green light means speed restriction, expect speed restriction.

And one steady red light and one flashing yellow light means carefully. In this case you must not go faster than 20 km/h so you won't derail on points (junctions). Next signal could be at danger.
Speed Restrictions (Home signals)
If the signal is showing speed restriction, there will be lit number under signal. To know with which speed do drive, there's a number under signal (you have to multiply it with 10 to get right speed)
If it is lit yellow it means that you have to reduce speed, that this signal restricted, to next signal (yellow nunbers are under signals that are showing that there will be speed restriction).
If it is lit white it means drive at this speed to next signal (white numbers are under speed restricion signals). If there isn't speed restriction, drive at normal line speed.

Signals showing that there will be speed restriction:

Speed restricion signals:

Distant Signals
Distant signals show you what to expect on home signal.

Steady green means: expect proceed.

Flashing green means: expect speed restriction.

Steady yellow means: expect danger.
Pre-signaling Repeater
The pre-signaling repeater must be installed when the prescribed visible distance of the home signal is not reached. The pre-signaling repeater with the prescribed signal character indicates what signal character the future home signal indicates. The signal signs of the pre-signaling repeater must depend on the signal signs of the future main signal. They shall be placed on the side on which the home signal stands, at least at such a distance as the prescribed visible distance for the main signal.

One steady green and steady white means: home signal is showing proceed.

One flashing green and steady white means: home signal is showing speed restriction.

One steady yellow and steady white means: home signal is showing danger.
