The Skaar Pilgrim-T1 is an inexpensive starter base made for folks who want to get established in the brave new galaxy. It was built to be inexpensive and defended also with a large solar array to reduce fuel costs. It comes with locations for 32 grow plots in two 16 plot areas (grow lights and power switches included), 2 large constructors, 4 large cargo boxes, fridge, food processor, armor locker, o2 + station, wifi, ammo box, and clone generator. The top of the base solar area also doubles as a landing or spawning pad giving a fair amount of docking room for SV's or very small CV's. As in coop, the interior is set up so if playing with 2 players, each could have there own input/output storage and large constructor as well as 16 grow plot farm. You would share the landing area as well as fridge, food processor, armor locker and clone chamber.

Offense and Defense

The hull is built with steel except the floor which is made with carbon substrate. The choice to use carbon substrate was only to reduce CPU usage a bit. It comes with 8 minigun turrets able to shoot in a 360 degree range.

Upgrading the base beyond CPU tier 1:

The base does not hold your hand in what you should do beside showing you where farm plots get located. It has some room to add a tier 2 block, additional generator, even replacing much of the floor with cargo extensions but this is up to the player on how they would like to configure the interior. I ran into a CPU wall and really could not add much more at all to the base at tier 1. It does not however have room for a shield unless you do some serious modifications. This was meant as a cheap and functional starter base putting in as much as possible at CPU tier 1 player level 5 requirements and no rare resources.

Notes: In the build cost screen shot it shows that it has 99% CPU efficiency, this is incorrect and a bug in the game. I included an additional screen shot of the CPU usage as it is slightly below 80000 CPU being a tier 1 at 100% efficiency.
