So in the beginning it worked like this: on the community (im talking anything you find on the community tab or profiles), swears and slurs will be censored.

Then they added the chat filter thingy in the beta and if you turned it off it turned off swears worldwide on the entirety of steam. Eventually this functionality got added to csgo and tf2.

Right now, I don't know if it's bugged or whatever, but unless I enter words into the "Do not filter these words ever" list, they still get censored for me on like my profile comments and such.
So I'm just using this to list a bunch and test it out.
Please note this is meant to be tested against the steam website, not necessarily like tf2 or csgo chat. Those seem to respond normally when I turn it off.
