How to setup Strafing on your aircraft
By RaathTuxicator
Strafing has been a much demanded feature for quite some time and purely by chance I figured out how to do it.

Strafing has 2 requirements. Firstly the primary and secondary key bindings and secondly a terminal part.

Step 1
Configure your craft
For this to work you need to have both front and rear blades setup to steer. Without going into too much detail if you want to turn left you need to configure your front blades to pull the front left and your rear to push the aft right. Without both front and rear being able to steer you can't strafe.

Step 2
Identify your parts
You can't rename blades like other parts so the best way to see which parts you need to configure go into external view and turn off the rear blades used for steering. Turn them all off!

Step 3
Set the key bindings
Enable the terminal part either with T if in the cockpit or pressing E on the part. For craft with a large amount of parts select the airblades fileter then look for the parts with a turned off icon.

Click on the keybindings button.

At the top are 2 options. Turn Left and Turn Right. Click both of those. You'll see that both primary and secondary bindings are already in place. A and D on primary and Left and Right on secondary. Switch the secondary so Turn Left requires the right arrow key and Turn Right is set to Left. Turn on the part and rinse and repeat for the rest of the blades.

Step 4
Happy Strafing!!
If you followed the above steps you should be able to turn with A and D but now if you press Left or Right arrow keys the craft will be able to strafe.
