This guide is only for the 1.00.38 version for Dark Crusade, you have a link inside for the 1.00.27 version for Soulstorm.

Introduction:

To leave it all clear, I am NOT related to the mod in any way, I've simply created this guide to make it easy to install and understand this Mod.
This Mod was created by Grumbling Orc Game Development, here you have all the info about the Mod and its creators.

All the files needed are included in this guide and hosted in MY MEGA account, so if you have any issue, contact me.


MOD VERSION: 1.00.38
VERY IMPORTANT!:
This Mod only works for Dawn of War: Dark Crusade , it wont work at all in any other Dawn of War game.

If you want the Soulstorm version, click here.
Mod Features:
  • Many-many new units and buildings. Extended tech tree.
  • Many-many new abilities and upgrades.
  • New Heroes and fully functional Heroes wargear.
  • New factions, like Tyranids or the Administratum.
  • RPG elements from CutterShane's Heroes System. Experienced units after battles.
  • Fully functional single campain, skirmish, and multiplayer.
  • And finally Titans and Titan-like units!

How to install Titanium Wars Mod:
1. Download the Mod from this link:

[Delete the space in the word mega, this is due to the Steam spam filter erasing any mega link]


2. Unzip the file, the result will be this:



3. Copy or move those files to the game directory:
( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Dark Crusade )

You will be asked to replace the original darkcrusade.exe with a modded one.
-Why do I need to replace the original darkcrusade.exe?
Basically, the modified version allows the game to use more memory from your PC, making it more stable, if you wish to read more, the mod creator talks about it here:

-Will this corrupt the game? No, the game runs exactly the same, you won't notice anything.
-Will I be banned? Also, no, I have been playing the game for months without problem, multiplayer and/or singleplayer
-Can I use multiplayer? Yeah, you can play with friends if both of you use the same mod version.


4. Open Dawn of War: Dark Crusade from Steam and click "Game Manager":



5. Select Titanium Wars and then click "Activate"



6. The game will restart and that's all, you are ready to enjoy Titanium Was Mod!

@Gharsnip people have made this point to the dev before and he basically more or less insulted them,try out third generation like SaiDuck said its much better than Titanium Wars.

Hello all.
I appologise in advance for what I am about to say but is there ANY way I can un-turn the ai back from elven?
I am no pro or hardcore player and I just want to enjoy the mod WITHOUT having the ai making me fight a 1 strenght level province like the end of the world.
I love the units and the tweaks...but FFS I just cant when the ai does ANYTING to win.

All this mod does is add the phrase "titanium wars" to the splash screen. And yes, I activated it in the game manager

this does not work? it wont change anything in the game, i unzip and move the file to the dark crusade file but it wont do anything with it?

There have been updates since, and Titanium Wars is now in 1.00.48! Make sure to grab your new version from GrOrc's ModDB for the most up-to-date experience! Much love to the creator. And much love to the person who made this guide!
