Every time when I try to craft something from the chest, if i had the needed material in both the chest AND the inventory, say making boards from logs, the raw materials for the craft item would be consumed from both chest AND inventory, making the product twice as expensive.
So the aforementioned bug is because Gem Core also overwrites Builder:CanBuild with its own function that takes into account for a Gem Core feature that allows a recipe ingredient to be any of a set. Only way to fix this would be to support it directly ....
Not sure if this one is on your side or theirs or what the solution is. But if you load Feast and Famine together with Craft from Chest, the game thinks you have a hidden supply of infinite logs to craft with.
My suspicion is since FAF swaps logs with skinned variants (birch logs etc) that it might mess up the crafting recipe detection. I did a bit of code diving and is swaps prefab log for log_birch, log_lunar etc.
Though I saw another mod pop up that is pretty nice for tidying inventory.

It would be nice to either get functionality like this, or have these two mods work together.
