Well you can do any thing, as your only limit is your imagenation...

But... if you keep and eye on your engram. You'll see that you are a cave man that wants to survive and advance.

to find Engram its: press “I” for character info than click engram in top roll.

When you die your inventory is dropped in a bag, you have 4 hours to recover it.
The hotbar and armour will remain on your person.

Where you died your bag will also be pinned on your compass (top middle of the screen).

To respawn click the map then select a bed or rally point (the map will also mark where you died ).

** cant confirm but.. If you are a low level player and click crate new survivor it will instantly delete last character made, or if you confirm to a new one it will over wright and delete still.**

If you die again on the way to retrieving your inventory the marker and pin will update to your last death.



When your dino is defeated, a chest is left with a much shorter timer of 15min, good luck getting that back

When building a base you want your environment to be fully sealed. To prevent other players from gaining access. who have a conflict of interest, to deny you access of your resources.

A player can fit through a space of 1x1 block by crawling or crouching (a single hole or a open window).

If you must have windows. Make sure you remember to close it when you log out or leave the area. Even better use a window that cannot be opened or closed (glass walls).




Number one easiest way to get into a base is through a hole left for water pipes.
Pipes and wires do not have player collision and can be passed through.

Build a trapdoor, open it than places water pipes (same apply with doors and windows).




stair are fragile and easy to brake for some reason and can leave a hole in the base. Its recommended to build stairs on celling for floor foundation. Same apply with roofing.



There are buildings and structures that have no locks or pin-codes so it can be accessed by anyone. Example generators, petroleum pump, mortar and pastle as well as Tek replicator.


I would recommend having generators in their own room.

Don't have one big open space.

Have enclosed the rooms for each structure. One room for a generator, or a room for a trough.


Phantom blocks can occur when the server and client de-sync. It will cause a block to remain if digging or a block to be absent when building. To correct eva travel out of render distance or relog, when building a base you want to make sure that there are no unwanted holes.

Buildings made on official servers have a timer (real time 15 days). If you do not login to the server your base will be flagged as abandoned and can be destroyed by any player (raided). Dinos can starve or be defeated by exposure.

In early game miss clicks can happen. Maybe start out with it off and rebind it later.
Steps: ESC>Option>Button

Then locate each “All whistle” and set them to “SpaceBar”.

Last find Jump and reset it to “SpaceBar”

You should now have all whistle types unassigned.
