How to get the achievement?

To start off you first need to start from the begining of the game from fresh.

Firstly after you start the game, you'd need to go through the whole story of the game without using any weapon except only one bullet to open a padlock on a gate after going through the vents. The next thing is that if you are needing to take down the gunship, use rockets to kill it.

You are allowed to use rockets to kill and destroy the combine car that shoots rockets at you.

Then just keep going through the game until you get near the end where strider is and kill that with rockets. Remember to always use gravity gun mainly through the game.

Once getting to the train, few minutes you should get a achievement pop up 'The one free bullet'.

Weapons allowed said by community

• Gravity gun
• SMG Grenades and hand granades
• Crowbar
  and auto mounted guns

You can use rockets, but make sure to not shoot them direct and shoot near the target.

Methods of getting the achievement posted by the community

• 1.Shooting the lock, then reloading the same save file.
• 2.Load a different save or Restart the game and play it from the start.
• 3.Using the pulse ball attacks from the enemies with the gravity gun and killing them with their own pulse ball is fine.
