Uncharted 1 M4 Sounds for MP5

Description
This mod replaces the MP5's default fire sound with firing sounds of the M4 from Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

If it doesn't work at first, type "snd_restart" in the console.

If it still doesn't work then set up a custom folder in your Black Mesa directory and move the .vpk file from your workshop download folder to your custom folder. The workshop download folder can be found in the following directory: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890.

If you don't know how to set up a custom folder, here's a guide which can help with that:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=502670746

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hope you enjoy the mod!

NOTE: I had to edit DanielTheGermanGuy's M4A1 addon to be able to get my firing sounds working, so you may encounter issues if you download both this addon and the M4A1 addon.

Nevertheless, here's the link to DanielTheGermanGuy's M4A1 addon.

@Studebaker Motor Company Yeah I've been looking into modelling and animating but I'm in my final year at university at the moment, so making an M4 addon is unfortunately going to have to be put on the long finger for the time being.

the sound worked but that M4 model does not. It does not replace MP5 for me. And other people say that NPCs cant fire with it. The author doesnt seem to care at all, people are begging him to fix it and I can see him playing something else. Doesnt give a single shit about anyone... what an idiot. You are not able to fix that model of his right? Or make some by yourself? It just makes so much sense to have M4 there...

@RvH To find the .vpk files you've downloaded, go to: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890 and you should find them in there.

"If it doesn't work at first, type "snd_restart" in the console."

The console doesn't recognize "SND_restart"? What do I do now?

"If it still doesn't work then set up a custom folder in your Black Mesa directory and move the .vpk file to the custom folder."

Ok, but where do I get these .VPK files in the first place?

Hopefully they fix the reload animation for the M4. Don't have to pull the charging handle back after a reload. Stick your thumb up for Jesus and send that fucker home lol

Oh damn I didn't know the NPCs couldn't fire their guns because of it. I didn't even look to see if it was v1.0 compatible either. My bad!

Nice sound but that link's M4A1 addon is outdated for the latest version Blackmesa 1.0.(NPCs can't use their guns) Very sad...

@Your Ugly Yes there is. As I mentioned in the description there is an M4A1 model available on the workshop made by DanielTheGermanGuy.
