Step 1
In your Steam library, locate The Black Heart; right click on the game and go to Properties. Then, go to the Local files tab and click View local files.
Step 2
Go to the folder "save" and open config.json with a text editor, like notepad.
Step 3
Locate the following lines inside the file:
"GameWidth": <Some width>, "GameHeight": <Some height>,
Step 4

Modify those lines with your preferred resolution. For example, I have an 1080p (1920x1080) screen, so I have set the following:
"GameWidth": 1920, "GameHeight": 1080,
I recommend setting "Fullscreen": true, as well.
Step 5
Save the file and open the game. Now, it should open using the new resolution set in the configuration file.
