Preparing 26-White Skull Corpses
By Music Master
This guide provides you with a step-by-step process of creating the best i.e. 26 white skull corpses for your graveyard and the best zombies (65% work efficiency) in the game. All the steps also include in-game screenshots attached for reference throughout the process.

NOTE: Be aware that preparing these corpses require advanced alchemy, access to an embalming table, embalming injections and a few late game perks and items. The Better Save Soul DLC is required to make these 26 white skull corpses.

Basics
The best corpses requires some of the very specific body parts for autopsy. Some of which are the -2 red skull/+3 white skull and +3 red skull/+3 white skull Important Parts (Hearts, Brains, Intestines) which you will need to be collecting over the course of your playthrough. Prayer for Repose can be used to increase the tier of the corpses if you haven't already unlocked the highest tier corpses yet.

With the release of Better Save Soul DLC you can now modify your inferior Important Parts into +3 red skull/+3 white skull parts. It makes this entire process a bit easier but it requires a decent amount of Sin Shards to modify a part. I recommend using Prayer for Souls' thorough Cleansing as it significantly increases the number of shards you get from healing a soul. For a detail on the amount of Sin Shards required for modifying skulls on an Important Part to a +3R/+3W part look at the table below.

Corpses for the Zombies
With the new Organ Modifications mechanic it is now possible to make a 26 white skull corpses. These 26 white skull corpses can be resurrected into 65% work efficient zombies. Although all the methods listed in this guide will always make 65% work efficient zombies it is better to save 0 red skull/+26 white skulls corpses for the graveyard. The efficiency of these zombies varies with the total amount of white skulls present on them and remains unaffected by any red skulls. A list of efficiencies of the zombies based on the total amount of white skulls it possess are given below.

Tips & Tricks
  • Prayer for Souls' thorough Cleansing is quite helpful in making the current best 26 white skull corpses as they provide extra Sin Shards for healing a soul which can be quite useful for modifying body parts.
  • Silver and Gold injections requires red skull(s) for embalming. So if you don't have any red skulls left on a corpse you can either add a temporary dark organ or embalm it with a dark injection along with removing the skull if necessary.
  • You can also use modified 0 red skull/+3 white skulls or +2 red skulls/+3 white skulls Important Parts along with two -2 red skulls/+3 white skulls Important Parts to make an all 26 white skull corpse.
  • Modifying body parts is one of the new feature in the game. The modifications cost a certain amount of Sin Shards for upgrading the quality of red/white skull on almost all the body parts. The cost of modifying these parts are listed in the table below.
    Modification Performed
    Sin Shards Consumed
    -2 skulls to -1 skull
    2 shards
    -1 skull to 0 skull
    2 shards
    0 skull to +1 skull
    2 shards
    +1 skull to +2 skulls
    3 shards
    +2 skulls to +3 skulls
    4 shards
  • The modifications can only be performed on Blood, Fat, Skin, Flesh and Important Parts (Heart, Brain, Intestines). Skull and Bone cannot be modified as of now. These modifications can only increase the red/white skulls on the corpse and can't remove a skull from them.
  • Zombie efficiency is only affected by the number of white skulls on a corpse and ignores any red skulls. Therefore, all 4 of the above listed 26 white skull corpses will always be resurrected into a 65% work efficient zombie.
  • Zombie efficiency does not affect the transportation speed for the zombies. It only decreases the amount of time that it takes for a zombie to craft/farm an item. So, always use your better zombies on the workstations that take the longest time such as alchemy workbench, winery etc.

Final Edit: [10/09/24]

No changes in the process have been made to the original guide, I have just corrected some of the wording withing the guide in order to finalize it for the community. It is clear at this point that the developers have moved on to their next in-line projects, finalizing Graveyard Keeper and its story for now. I would like to thank the community for showing support to my guide and as for the guide, I will continue to support it in case they decide to drop a DLC.

@Zorot The Dark injections are only needed for the '-' Red Skull corpses as you won't be able to injection them with Silver or Gold injections as they require the corpse to have the particular amount of red skulls. You don't need one for modified parts with '+' White Skulls.
Zorot 9 Apr, 2023 @ 1:02am
@son-goku like.. majority of sin shards for perfect corpses come to the blood and fat. Important parts mostly need 4 sin shards as you either use +2W or +3W. So it stays the same. What I meant is that you dont need to use any dark injections or sin shards, just inject everything on corpses just before any body modifications. U will rarely have corpses with less than 2Red skulls so why bother with some dark injections when you can just do the inject as you get a corpse

@Zorot, believe me, when it comes to making 26-skull corpses, the sin shards will quickly become a bottleneck. Currently, I need to process 3 or 4 corpses just for the shards just to make a single 26-white skull corpse.

At least I have enough zombies for now ^^ Now, I need them to bury them for points

And the reason why the guide doesn't include modifying parts when it was made is that I considered people to be filling up their graveyards and maxing out the zombies using these bodies which is a long process. You get about 4-7 shards per soul healed (8-14 with prayer) and you get 5 corpses a week (getting 20-35 shards at min & 40-70 shards at max for healing) while 180 Sin shards are required just for modifying soft parts i.e blood, skin etc.

TLDR , you will need to farm shards for about 3 weeks just for making a week's worth of 5 perfect corpses and that's considering you are getting the absolute most amount of shards from each soul & not using them on anything else. And if you plan on filling your graveyard and worker stations you will need a lot of perfect corpses. Just the graveyard alone I believe takes 84 bodies not counting all the zombie workers you will need to upgrade. I am just giving the basic idea here and leaving how you want to use your resources up to you.

@Zorot The guide is old but not outdated. It was last updated for the 1.403 patch which has no gameplay changes from the last updated game patch of 1.405 (with just some bug fixes).

As for the process above, it just includes important parts typically collected during your normal playthrough of the game. So while using dark injection isn't the only way of adding the red skulls to the body the basic idea remains the same. It is your choice whether you want to use Sin Shards, Dark Injection, Dark Organs, or any other way.

Yes, you don't need to use regular parts instead just modify all your parts from Sin Shards if you have enough to spare. I didn't mention any modifications for the organs as I know sooner or later people will run out of Sin shards.

I dont't know if the guide is outdated and something changed. You don't need to use dark injections or -2R parts. Just inject everything on corpses with at least 2 R skulls: Gold -> Lye -> Silver -> Glue. And then just put in important parts with sum of (+2 R or less). This way you get 0R26W.

Math:
--------
-1R 0W Skull
+1R +3W Blood
+1R +3W Fat
0R +3W Meat
-1R +3W Skin
+2R +3W Important 1
0R +3W Important 2
0R +3W Important 3
-2R +2W Gold
-1R +1W Silver
+1R +1W Lye
0R +1W Glue
--------
0R 26W

It can be whatever that has max sum of +2.

If your like me and find i have a lot of 0R/1-2-3W main parts from early corpses and find it difficult to locate the -2R's from corpses, then this may help. Makes it really simple for me.

Clear Corpse - Leave Skull & Bones.

Upgrade

Blood & Fat +1R/+3W
Skin -1R/+3W
Flesh +3W

2 Mains to +3W/0R
1 Main to +3W/+2R

Add all to body.

Lye injection
Glue injection
Silver injection
Gold injection

26 Skull Corpse as result. :)

To be honest, i find best way to do this is to simply make sure that the main parts overall are only adding 2 red skulls and 9 white skulls.

So even if you did:

Part 1: +3R/+3W
Part 2: -1R/+3W
Part 3: +3W

Then again overall you’re adding 2 Reds and 9 Whites.

@FallenAbaddon, they come at some point, it's randomized. Usually it's a corpse that has like 3R/6W at the beginning already. Also, it's only the high-tier organs, brain, intestines and heart that can have -2/3
FallenAbaddon 26 Oct, 2022 @ 2:52am
How to get -2/+3 body parts? I have never had parts with "-" Red skulls
Music Master  [author] 14 Sep, 2022 @ 1:58am
@son-goku I have just used the parts that you will come across naturally while playing. If you have enough Sin Shards you can use any number of combinations with the different types of parts that are present in the game. I plan on adding the other combinations to the guide with future updates.
