HON Presage Class Explorer [6 Slot]

High Oriflamme Navy (HON) Ships
11 items
Description
Description : Slightly redundant ship compared to the Manifest which is better in most ways, but I really liked the design of this ship. Really cheap to build. Good amount of frameworks. Meant to be a starter ship to explore, use gates, and generally last you the start part of the game.

Lore: Seeing the success of the Journey Class Explorer from the RIA, the HON decided they needed a new ship to fill the role between Quest, and Manifest. A special exemption was made for the new class of ship. Similar in how the fiefdom of ships were handed out to those given a Quest class Corvette, the Presage Class Explorer holds a unique and powerful reconnaissance role. The best Trackers, the best huntsmen within the High Oriflamme Navy are given the opportunity to serve the crown, and gain favour.

Hey many of those detailed ships still cant take on an ugly Square death block.....so detail is only so important. You are making gold here with function, looks, and PERFORMANCE life saving block counts. So please know your are a magic working designer here.

Yeah I understand performance is important for a lot of people. It's why I try to trim my ships if they get too big. I know I miss complex detail and don't perform as well as some other ship designers but it's a good middleground I found.

Sadly I don't really know how to make faction packs.

I am a big fan of the idea that all these cool ships of low count should be ships that replace the vanilla ships in the game. They are so much cooler, and tougher in general.

I know I use the mod uh...."Increasing Threat" or such I cant remember the exact name. To make enemies tougher. But that is a % gain mostly based on the stats of the ships....which vanilla ships suck ok. No nice way of saying that.
That is why I love faction packs, and so that ship graveyards (Scrapyards) dont lag the game low block count cool looking ships are a total plus.......the fear of loading into that scrapyard with empire ships and some other sci-fi filmed ships with 5k to 12k ship block counts.....was 8 mins to load....and took me 5 to load out to another ship, then passive command the ship to leave through map commands.....so scary. I had to reload the game to free up the game after having my ship leave.

SO award and thank you sir for good low block count ships!!!!:steamhappy:

They are all pretty low block count! That's like my big signature thing, I try to make things relatively low block out. Thanks for the thumbs up.

If these block counts really are less then 2k Per ship of this style....they would make a really really good faction ship pack...>.> ..just saying.
