[ENGLISH] This guide is for those who didn't restart Steam after the game unlocked and had some of their achievements not unlocked, even after doing the actions required to obtain them. Note that after restarting Steam, you can still get achievements if you haven't met the requirements, but the ones you should have obtained cannot be achieved anymore. Basically this guide is to clear all your progress so you can unlock these achievements that you didn't get prior the restart. Stop complaining and follow these 3 easy steps to be happy again.

[ESPAÑOL] Esta guía es para la gente que ahora no puede sacar los logros que ya hizo por no reiniciar steam. Sucedió que realizaste lo que debías pero al no haber reiniciado steam no te los conto en ese entonces y menos te los cuenta ahora. Basicamente esta guia resetea tu progreso así puedas jugar y sacar esos logros faciles que habías "perdido". Deja de putear y seguí estos tres pasos para alegrarte la vida.

[ENGLISH] First go to your Steam folder, then userdata. Go to the folder with your profile number (it should be the only folder in there, unless other accounts have been accesed from your computer), and now search for the folder 250180, go in it, then go to remote and delete all the content there.

Default should be:
and delete everything there (should be 3 or 4 archives)

[ESPAÑOL] Primero anda a tu carpeta de Steam, luego a userdata, luego entra en la unica carpeta con el numero de tu perfil y ahora busca la carpeta 250180. Entra en ella y luego borra [/b]todo [/b] el contenido de la carpeta remote.

y borra [/b]todos [/b] los archivos de la carpeta remote (son 3 o 4 asi sabés si no le pifiaste de carpeta)

[ENGLISH] Now go to your appdata folder (if you don't know how, go to "Run" (Win+R) and type %appdata%, then press enter), then open Local and finally open the mslug3 folder. Like the first step delete all the content in there.

Default is:

and delete all content here again (4 archives)

[ESPAÑOL] Ahora anda a la carpeta appdata (si no sabes como anda a ejecutar (Win+R) y tipea %appdata% y luego presiona la flechita de atrás) desde ahí entra a Local y luego a la carpeta mslug3. Ahí borra otra vez todos los archivos de la carpeta.

y borra todos esos archivos que no te dejan progresar ( seguro son 4).

[ENGLISH] Finally, go to your Steam library and right click on Metal Slug 3, then go to properties and click on the updates tab. There you should uncheck the box that says "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Metal Slug 3" so it looks like the image below. Close the window and start playing. You will notice if it worked if you get an achievement when you rescue the blonde girl with the huge backpack near the beginning of the level or the monkey on the Dark Warehouse route, by completing the first stage, or by just attempting to get an achievement you had missed. Note that if you check the Steam Cloud synchronization box again you will return to the state you were before doing all these steps, so my recommendation is to get all the achievements you know you lost and then check the box again to return to your original progress.


[ESPAÑOL] Para finalizar anda a tu biblioteca de Steam y hace click derecho sobre el Metal Slug 3. Luego anda a propiedades y ahí clickea la pestaña actualizaciones. Ahi debes destildar la casilla que dice "Activar sincronizacion con steam..." cosa que quede como la imagen de abajo. Acepta y empeza a jugar. Te darás cuenta si funcionó al agarrar a la rubia, al mono o al completar el primer nivel, depende tu caso. Fijate que si volves a marcar la casilla de activar sincronización volveras a como antes, así que mi recomendación es sacar todos los logros que sabes que perdiste y luego tildar de nuevo la casilla para volver a tu progreso original.

[ENGLISH] If this doesn't work: 1- You did something wrong or 2- You have a much bigger problem going on. Also these are pretty easy things to do to solve your problem, but it took me about 5 hours to figure it all out (you can't imagine the things I tried) because "if nobody helps you, do it yourself".
