Description
When you search a ruin for treasure (i.e, have to do a puzzle), with the settlement having belonged to a dead faction, you will now get an opportunity to resurrect them in exchange for money. The more you spend, the greater the force that is spawned.

This goes excellently with a mod that increases the number of hordes during the chaos invasion. You can now lead a resistance.

Update: Now the revived faction will be given the settlement that you searched

Update: You now get a choice to make the revived faction an ally, a vassal, or an independent faction

Update: Adjusted the script to have more delays, reducing weirdness in multiplayer campaigns.

Update: Added fix for Norsca factions

Update: Updated for latest patch

I recommend looking through my collection of campaign enhancement mods, as they all bring some much needed dynamism to the game: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2101461335

Xina, i think i remember having that problem before the new silence and the fury came out, im thinking that the faction has to be freshly dead or something. try to play around with different scenarios and circumstances to try and get an idea of how it works

what worked for me was the biggest investment, even then its not guaranteed. its likely a known bug thats hidden well in the coding

Is this working still? It gave me the option to revive a ruined Khemri, but nothing happened after I clicked small investment (I.e. the city was still ruined..).

Doesn't work for Karaz-a-Karak

I've played multiple games and factions already with this mod, but never saw the option when I searched any ruins (including main capitals like Carcassonne for example) after the related faction was destroyed.
Checked my other mods which are mostly just visual updates, and there was no conflict between these mods.
What am I doing wrong here?

is it ANY faction from the ruins or is this like a OP version of liberate that you can only revive factions that owned the settlement before or from the start?

How long does the script require a faction to be dead before you can revive it? I am playing Grom, I know skarsnik is dead. I took Karak Azgaraz from the vamps that killed him, then levelled it so I could search it. Nothing popped up 3 turns so far, just the normal search ruins puzzles.

Report back when you know that he's dead

The mod works fine except when I try to revive Thorgrim Grudgebeard. Might be that a small fraction of his faction is hidden up in the map somewhere though.
