[WOTC] Resistance Operations: Use Character Pool

Description
Commander, we're receiving reports of soldiers going rogue and taking it to ADVENT on their own. Perhaps my war stories inspired them... We should see if we can assist.
-Bradford

Resistance Operations: Use Character Pool
The Resistance Operations introduced in the Tactical Legacy Pack are a wonderful addition to the game, offering a rogue-like experience in the XCOM universe. However, the mode did not leverage XCOM2's pride and joy - the character pool.

Enhancements
All soldiers participating in a resistance operation will be pulled directly from your character pool. Their appearance, outfit, naming, and other customizations will all be imported.

Furthermore, each of your characters will align with their desginated class when placed in the resistance operation.

Compatability and Recommendations
  • Custom Resistance Operations by Favid
    • Fully compatible and will add a great number options available to the user.
  • Unrestricted Customization by Toxic Frog
    • If you've used a custom character in your campaigns, you know switching armors will auto-update armor appearances. Unrestricted Customization has a default feature that will halt this randomization. Luckily, it also applies to resistance operations to keep your imported characters consistent!
Additional Details
If a resistance operation rolls a particular class, but your character pool does not contain a soldier aligned to that class, a soldier from your character pool will be chosen at random to fulfill that class role.

Please note, Sparks will not play nice with this mod.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs or discrepancies. I hope you enjoy!

How do I make sure a Spark doesn’t spawn to avoid the mentioned issues?

Do modded classes apply?

I'm happy say that many modded enemies showed up.

I don't get this, it doesn't work. Is it supposed to work for all 3 legacy modes? I have tried all 3 and nothing from my character pool. Do I have to start a new operation when playing Central's Archives for it to work?

May I ask if there is a mod that gives you the same loadouts you have in the character pool?

Does it randomly select a unit from my pool or can I choose which soldier fills a spot?

@Jaiver

Yes, soldiers that die and are replaced are not included under this implementation. Apologies.

For some reason, soldiers brought in to replace some of mine that died weren't selected from my character pool. Does this mod only apply to the initial squad.

Basically, the three replacement soldiers were randomised while the fifth soldier brought in for the next mission was from my character pool.

@Gumboots
Yes, that is a known issue unfortunately. The Sparks use a different base which conflicts with the current import implementation. I will make a warning note in the description.
