Make Corpses Stay Forever
By Whesker
There's something about a tango's body disappearing within seconds that takes away from the experience of Door Kickers 2. Here's how you can modify a configuration file to make sure they do not despawn.

Navigate to DK2's options.xml file and add keepDeadBodies="true"
In Windows 10 open "Run.exe". You can do this from search box on your task bar. In Run.exe, enter "appdata" into the field and hit 'OK'. Locate the following file path:

C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2\options.xml

Now that you have been able to open the file in your preferred text editor, such as Notepad or Sublime Text, edit the line that contains keepDeadBodies="false" to keepDeadBodies="true". Don't forget to save the file. Next time you start the game the changes will take effect.

Goodbye chalk. Hello carnage. Enjoy.

Consider using this path instead:
%LocalAppData%\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2\options.xml

It will automatically select (in the Run prompt or Windows File Explorer) the correct drive and username – for anyone on Windows, without having to replace anything.

For some reason I can't figure out how to use the console (Obviously because I haven't used the PC's console much) and now I'm stuck trying to figure it out, indefinitely.

@Xtra_Dip: thx for the answer, thankfully I could figure it out by myself - the folder was hidden like you say

You may need to reveal the AppData folder through file explorer as it is hidden by default

Windows 11 file path should be the same. C:\Users\"yourusernamehere"\AppData\Local\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2

@slimy slimy, grimy grimy I've played a number of games, and messed with configs like this one similar, most of the time its just the dev's either forget to, plan on something to expand on the feature before it's implemented, or its something they thought people would not care about, it just depends
