Description
DECOMMISSIONED

NO MODS | DLC | NO SCRIPTS | NO SUBGRIDS | PARTIAL SURVIVAL READY

Several years have passed since the beginning of the Consolidation expansion into uncharted regions, when OPC began construction projects in new territories. The small fleet of construction drones previously used to build small mining bases and repair them was insufficient by the time the expansion project started. They had to come to the aid of controlled small vessels, the equipment of which could allow construction work to be carried out for a long time in narrow spaces. The ships that were offered by third-party companies were either large or expensive to maintain, which, given the number of ships required, was very expensive for Consolidation, which, moreover, was involved at that time in a costly local conflict on the Border Worlds.
An unexpected proposal was a modification of the existing project of a light military scout, which did not find the approval of the Council of Heads due to its protective characteristics. Having slightly changed the design, the specialists of the Company got the desired result-a cheap, reliable and efficient ship that can perform the tasks assigned to it in outer space (for the construction of low-orbit objects, it was decided to use capital-sized ships).
Turbot-named after a family of flat fish was quickly put into mass production and took part in the construction of various structures, in particular, individual fleets of ships were engaged in the construction of Pharos class stations, and ships assigned to the Defense fleet as support ships began to build Asgard class stations. In addition, these ships interested the allies, which was first established the export of ships, and later the full production of these ships from the allies.

So I just came along this ship today and the first thing i thought of was the small troop transports from Star Wars Rebels! This is an awesome design for a ship!

Its really pretty. I welded it by hand, in survival, its so pretty. Then I had to gut it- as I couldn't use it for construction, so adapted it for mining- and it was very tall and low powered for its full load, in 0G. I still kept it, as IT WAS SO PRETTY! There is a mod for diagonal conveyers- that might assist some of the problem. Also, the only DLC part was the sci-fi door You can fit the stock in the space.- If you move it two blocks forward, it might buy space to add the big boy conveyers to top connector. Move the sponsons in one block and back - and put three junctions in a row. You could use a flat/ down connector from the center junction with some fiddling as well. But seriously, great looking ship. If I wasnt starting from moon gravity, I'd be building it again, flaws and all.

Thank you for pointing it out, i did not consider that during the concept of the ship. Unfortunately current model will require manual transfer of the items, because i cannot find the way to fix the problem without changing the aesthetics of the ship. I plan to release a version with the account of this in the near future.

You should connect the grinder and welder using the large conveyor systems. It doesn't look like it is in the screenshots.

I like the design, are you planning on making more rovers by chance?
