OUTDATED / NOT UPDATED !

I totally leave you the possibility of modifying my mod and creating your own mod yourself, it doesn't bother me at all.
My mod is Not Updated, so do what you want, and good game ! :)

This mod is a small and simple mod that only increases the number of buildable modules and buildings on Starbases. And it adds a few weapons, just a little.

- For Patch 2.8.* (2.8.1).

Starbases Modules & Buildings Slots :
Modules : 12
Buildings : 10

Outpost :
Modules 0
Buildings 1 - (instead of 0)

GUN BATTERY Module :
+1 Medium Gun Turret (vanilla : 2 ; total : 3)
(total : 3 weapons, instead of 2)

MISSILE BATTERY Module :
+1 Torpedo / Medium Missile Turret (vanilla : 2 ; total : 3)
(total : 3 weapons, instead of 2)

HANGAR Module :
+1 Large Strike Craft (vanilla : 1 ; total : 2)
+1 Small Defense Gun Turret (vanilla : 0 ; total : 1)
(total : 3 weapons, instead of 1)

UI Starbase Modules & Graphic Rendering :
It looks a lot like a few mods created by other authors / modders, but I tried to place the boxes for the icons of the modules and buildings more correctly (I hope) or at least "differently", while trying to keep the icons as large as possible, on a row of 6 and 5 squares.

Unlike other mods, a single slot is occupied by 6 modules at a time, which are superimposed on each other on the same slot, and this slot is attached to the starbase core below the main structures which are 12 in number when it comes to a citadel.

As a result, these superimposed modules are hardly visible but they are there !

It would have been best to create new models (new section components designs) to fix / attach and add slots in other places, but that is too complicated for me.

Other mods similar to mine have chosen these options :
Examples:

But all these choices lead to the same result: superimposed modules which overlap on one or more "visible" slots / modules (which can be seen clearly), the 6 initial slots when the starbase reaches the "Citadel" level.

By adding "Part8" to "Part13" (my mod) which obviously does not exist, the game program places the 6 additional modules beyond the 6 normal attached modules at the level of the main core of the starbase, at the very bottom, in the center.

So, these superimposed modules are hardly visible !
Only on this single slot and almost invisible slot (with 6 superimposed modules).

For humanoid starbases at least. Not checked for other species.

Mod Compatibility :
This mod was created without any other mod modifying the UI / Interface.

Not compatible with any mods which overrides or changes these files :

I'd love it if this included the orbital rings, but I'm going to have a go at doing it myself.

i can create starbases from the galaxy map no problem, and my ship will only build 1 star. Could u create a collection with your current mods so i can take a look? Had similar issue before and solved by removing a outdated mod that affected some planet generation parameters since it changed how the line of the code works on the last dlc.

This does work it just you cant make new starbases from the galaxy map because it will create a starbase on every world. The only work around is to manually go in the system click where you want the star base and it will then only make one starbase.

You are free to not subscribe to the same if you so wish and continue with the vanilla system.
When it comes to customization, you can simple add a few lines of code on the starbase.txt to be able to change the slots as you so desire.

completely OP.
Another useless starbase mod nobody needs.
What this game FINALLY needs is a mod (because Paradox is too stupid for that) that allows you to customize your starbase armament.

I can't take care of this mod currently, the content of the game has changed, you have to make changes that you have to study beforehand to do so. You are free to modify my mod and do what you want, I am not an expert in Stellaris modding, you just have to do the same thing as me when I made this mod, I had studied the files of the game and uploaded other mods similar to mine to make my own mod, do like me, make your own mod using mine and compare other mods. If I had succeeded, you can also do it, you just have to spend a little time...

@Starknight . Would it be possible to get rid to all the starbase buildings leaving only the slots? Seems you have the perfect addition for Star trek New Civilizations. Tested, and without the buildings would be ok. Works in 3.6 seems.
