Hi I'm Sparky! I'm the modeller for the Azimuth Remastered mod. SEModder is the bug tester, Icon converter, Code..er...(makes the categories) and handles the technical side, like making stuff work for xbox and G-Menu stuff, ect.

The Azimuth mod was originally created by TumbleTV and we have offered TumbleTV a contributor spot, though TumbleTV may have moved on from the modding scene as SEModder has taken over alot of Tumbles Mods(Including the Azimuth Mod!)

The Azimuth remastered mod is compatible along side the original mod- So this means you can keep/use the original Azimuth Mod without the Azimuth Remastered interfering!

This is going to be a very big project and will take a long time to fully complete. There will be times where I'll need to take a break from modelling whether that's to avoid burning out or to take a rest after alot of work or to think of new designs.

The Azimuth Remastered Mod is a complete overhaul of the original Azimuth mod with new and updated models with LODs and proper construction models and straight up new additions- Like the gatling turrets and new designs for large ship variants.

Me and SEModder will keep this road map and list updated in the coming updates and we both thank you for subscribing to our mod! we really appreciate it.

This is a list of future(short term) plans that have still to be decided on which update they'll be released on. This will be subjected to change as updates come out.

Weapon Core:

So it's been said that weapon core will be released as a separate version AFTER all the remastering is complete. The reason for this is that SEModder has a surprise and a few plans. With that said- We all know that this wont happen for a long time as the Azimuth pack includes LOTS! of blocks.

As for the current weapons- I have been working with weapon core and have the micro and small turret tested with it and there's a few stuff I'm not exactly happy with and not quite sure how to go about fixing(yet) and I'm thinking about releasing a beta weapon core after update 5

I'm trying to follow the original blueprint components from the original mod, but as many of you have pointed out that things are too cheap or don't add up properly so that's on tumble tv!

Fun fact:
The micro wasn't planned- It was supposed to be the small ship gatling turret and I knew this was going to be small, but not THAT small. Instead of scrapping it, I decided to keep it. This is also a small nod to my planned future mod "The Micro Mod" which adds micro blocks to small ships and a few large ships. This includes a CCTV camera, 1x2x1 hydrogen tank, 1x2x1 Laser antenna and a few more. I was working on this before I started doing the gatling guns. After starting the gatling guns, I started showing screenshots of the small ship long barrel gatling gun.

I had plans to re-balance the weapons, but this would of delayed update 4(again) and I really wanted this out before Christmas. I'd like to thank DR.W for getting the damage stats on all the guns.

Fun fact:
The gatlings guns are Scottish!
The reason there's 2 variants of the small boat fusion reactor is because I(sPaRkEH) couldn't decide what looked better so me and SEModder decided on both.

SpaRKeH was too lazy to remove "Long Gatling turret" from the Gatling conveyor box because "it was too much effort" so SpArKEh made 3 different barrel sizes.
We also lost track of whats new because there was soo many new stuff and soo many fixes.

SEModder came up with the name "Quad flamefront"

I did want update 5 out by April 1st.
The models were completed on march 29 and I lost sleep and then had to re-paste my Alienware for the stream the next day, which took 6 or 8 hours. I didn't have a full day to properly fix the SBC code and had to give SEModder the unfinished SBCs to at least get the essentials and anything else done and ready for the stream on April 1st. Me and SEModder were up til late on March 31 trying our best and working real hard together to get the essentials ready for the stream. We ended up missing a few stuff by mistake, such as the shipping container Icon. The next morning as soon as we woke up, we started working on the fusion reactor and block thruster subtypeID's and we had to over look the construction components and forgot about the inventory sizes and block pair names as we were extremely pressed for time. The update didn't go live until 15 minutes before the stream started which was cutting it real close. We thank everyone for your patience and understanding and we greatly appreciate the support from everyone. We hope the April 2 hotfix has covered all the stuff that we couldn't cover on April 1st.

for example:

Q: What ammo does that gatling use?
A: Toaster waffles! (it says on the box XD)

Q: When is weapon core coming out?
A: SOon!

Q: What is the difference between Remastered and Mega Mod Pack?
A: The name and screenshots sort of speak for it's self. Subscribe to both mods and tell US what the difference is

Q: Why is the muzzle flash in the middle?
A: because the size is fixed and it looks really derpy with half the flash sticking out of the muzzle flash hider. In weapon core I can do something about this, but I still need to at least learn and understand C# so I'm not throwing in random value like a Todd Howard

Q: will this break my ships\saves?
A: No, but the gatlings certainly will ;) Seriously though, You can still use this along side with the Azimuth Mod and still have the old models. The Azimuth Remastered will have NEW IDs so nothing will be replaced: https://imgur.com/HR2zKjm

Q: Why wont the Thrusters work?
A: The Thruster Idle flame(apart from H2) is set to invisible for a "realistic" effect

A: We'll remaster everything from the Azimuth Mod

Q: When is the next update?
A: me and SEModder both need a break, Update 5 took 3-4 months of constant non stop work due to the massive overhaul and redo of all the models. Good news is, updates wont take that long again unless we have something huge planned

Q: How did you two meet?
A: Many moons ago... Like August 2020 or something, I was updating my boats and I noticed some of SEModders small ship mega mod pack blocks had weird collisions and I asked if he knew how to fix or was able and he did(which was really nice, thank you!) then I started working on a modpack for myself called the micro mod and It was similar to SEModder's small ship mega mod pack, except with its own models(This was being kept for myself). Around October I went back to SEModder with screenshots of the azimuth gatling guns. (I was originally going to keep this to myself, as in not upload it at all, but I was a really proud of it and wanted show SEModder) and within the modding community, everyone was really into it too. I spoke to SEModder and we decided to start working together on this.
