This guide will go over the easiest and sure-fire way to ensure your mods are on the most up to date version.

Men of War Assault Squad 2 has a common problem of workshop mods not properly updating. This leads players to have mismatching versions and troubles resolving such issues.

The root of this issue is bad code that separates mod instances of the steam workshop and game files and does not check properly for updates from steam workshop over game files. This also leads to bloat in space usage so it is recommended to clear out both directories of old mods/versions from time to time. Your workshop files are almost always updated, however the game did not copy the files over to game files and thus does not show up in game. The process of copying is the "Mounting Mod Resources Splash". The solution is to manually copy the files, thus skipping the check. This is also faster than sitting through the mounting mod resources on larger mods.

The steam workshop directory for the game will be located in the same drive as your game instillation. By default this is the C drive (C:\). However, be sure to check which drive the game is located on.

From there every mod has a unique numeric code. You can check through each of the files and open the mod.info file in a text editor to check the name. You can also update the max version of the game the mod is compatible to here too. One can also tell by memorable file names inside the folders.
