Description

A working circuit to run the well-known cellular automaton known as Conway's game of life. Includes a few preset patterns with interesting oscillators, as well as a generator for random patterns.

This circuit serves no further practical purpose, it's essentially just an engineering flex. But it looks great and it's worth checking out for a few minutes. :)
