If you think the soviet flak was powerful, the germans developed improved variants of the FlaK 18/36 - the /37's and /41's with even greater range and penetration! Not to mention the very heavy FlaK 39 105mm and the twin FlaK 40 Zwilling 128mm!

It depends on which model. The M1944 had a longer barrel and much larger propellant charge. This is the M1939 version. Also, Germans loved using captured ones, so I wouldnt say it was crap if even the germans used them

It had much lower penetration than that of the FlaK 88.
